Aiko
Driving to Blair condo all I could think about was sleep. I just couldn't get comfortable on plane, so I wrote, and wrote until I couldn't anymore. Getting out definitely helped with the process. Everything just seemed to flow. The car came to a stop snapping me out of my thoughts. I stepped out the car and grabbed Journee as Blair grabbed the bags. I could tell Blair was living good from the outside of her building. We made our way in and stood outside Blair's as she found her key.
"Mi casa es su casa" Blair said with a smile forming on her face.
I chuckled adjusting Journee in my arms. I walked in admiring the place. She always had good taste. I mean look at who her best friend is. I admired Blair for doing what she loves, and not letting anyone deter her. She showed me to the guestroom. I gave Journee a bath, and put her to sleep before relaxing. I sighed sitting on the bed watching Scandal. Once the show was over I decided to take a shower.
I stripped out of my clothes, stepping into the shower. I closed my eyes as the hot water hit me. For once I didnt have pointless thoughts running through my head. I was somewhat at peace. I washed up, and stood in aimlessly for 20 minutes as the water continued to hit my body. Stepping out I grabbed the towel and dried off. I lotioned my body, then slipped on panties and a t-shirt before climbing into bed. I layed there until I fell into a deep slumber.

I decide on making breakfast, I peeked in Aiko's room. Journee was sitting straight up babbling, and Aiko was knocked out cold. I grabbed Journee taking her with me.
"You wanna make breakfast for mama?" I asked
She just stared at me like I was crazy. I grabbed my phone snapping a picture of her. I chuckled sitting my phone down on the counter, and retrieved the eggs out the refrigerator. Journee crawled around as I continued to make breakfast. I planned on getting Aiko out today. The last place she needed to be was stuck in the house.
Aiko
I woke up with Journee not next to me, and I slightly panicked. Taking in my environment I realized where I was and began to calm down. I threw my feet out the bed heading for the door. Immediately the smell of food hit me. I made my way down the hallway running into a babbling Journee. I scooped her up planting kisses all over her face as I took a seat. Blair had yet to notice my presence. Finally turning around, she jumped.
"Bitch!" She exclaimed being dramatic.
"Hoe." I resorted. She rolled her eyes handing me a plate.
"Dramatic ass." I mumbled. Obviously not low enough because she mugged me. I laughed silently and grabbed the plate.
"Listen." Blair said causing me to look up. "I'm taking you around today." I remained silent. Truth be told I didn't feel like going out anywhere. I just nodded in return. If I wanted to obtain my dreams, I'd have to start living again.

I woke up in this empty ass bed. I miss Aiko as much as I don't want to admit it. I let the fame get in the way. Shit I let Avery get in the way. I knew alot of the shit she did was out of spite because she hated Aiko. I went along with it for my dream. I'm a sell out, but my CDs sell out. I'm still winning, even thou my girl left me. I'll get a new one. That's what I keep telling myself. I'll start over, get a new bitch, new relationship, and she'll be everything Aiko couldn't. One thing I can't replace is Journee. I fucked when it came to being a dad. I'm doing exactly what my dad did. She doesn't even know me, and she carries my name.
"And that's a shame cause our last name is the same.
That blood type flowin' through our veins is the same." I quoted myself. It popped in my head, I guess because it fit the situation.
At this point, I know I'm wrong but I could careless this is my dream.
Aiko
We've been out for hours now. Saying I'm tired would be an understatement. Honestly, didn't feel like going home yet. Being trapped inside for so long made me forgot what this felt like. We made our way to what felt like the hundredth store.
"Blair." a voice called. I didn't even bother to look or turn around. We've ran into so many of her bougie ass friends today. I'm good on meeting anymore.
"Aiko" she called. I dragged myself over with Journee attached to me. "Hey" I said shyly realizing Kendrick Lamar was standing with her. "Blair, told me you sang." "Yeah, I do."
"Well, whenever your free.." He said trailing off. I nodded. I didn't want any handouts. I wanted to start from the bottom and build myself up. I appreciate Blair's gesture, but that's not how I wanted it.
I waited as Blair said her goodbyes. "Girl, this could be your big break." I heard her say. I really wasn't paying attention. She continued to ramble on. "Did you hear me?" "Yeah." I sighed. Looking at the rack of clothes.
"I don't know he's friends with J, and." "Who cares!" she cut me off. "You need to stop living for him." "Believe me I'm done with that. I just don't want to run into him." "Listen, you want to make it in this industry right?" I shook me head yes. "Well, you can't worry about running into people. You'll lose opportunities." I shook my head in understanding. "Fuck him!" She exclaimed causing me to laugh. "New beginnings." "New beginnings." I repeated after her.
These beginnings couldn't come any quicker.
