Chapter 2

"Ah...finally...." The parents of my students and my students had just left from the winter recital, which was chaotic but it made me feel accomplished. Now I just have to wait till graduation.

I gathered up my papers into my carrier bag before heading out. My stomach rumbled in hunger as I walked down the hallway. What should I eat tonight? The thought only made me hungrier.

I was about to open the door to leave the school but someone shouted my name. "Ella!"

I swear this has happened before...

I turned around and saw no other than Taehyung walking towards me with a smile. "Hey Taehyung," I closed the door due to the coldness of the air coming in. "I peeked in to your class' recital...I really liked it."

I chuckled lightly and said, "Thank you very much Taehyung, they worked hard." He nodded and saw the books in my hand then took them. "Here, I'll carry that for you..." A slight dusting of pink spread across my cheeks and I gave a little smile. "Gamsa..." Taehyung only giggled and response before opening the door for me.

I looked at him curiously before he explained. "I'm taking you out for dinner, but I'll walk with you to drop these off at your place." He said, smiling brightly. I bowed slightly and thanked him once more.

"Aish...you have to stop thanking me Cinderella~" Taehyung ruffled my hair slightly and I sort of lead the way to my apartment. It wasn't that far, but it was cold. "So...how's your classes going?"

I'm such an awkward person, it definitely shoes since I moved to Seoul on my own. Taehyung chuckled a little, walking along with my pace and his hands in his pockets for warmth. "Well, I've finished all my exams, so I'm done for this semester, but who knows if I passed..." I nodded, remembering all the harsh exams even though I went for two years.

"I'm sure you passed..." My voice came out in a small muffle, my lower half of my face was covering itself in my scarf. "This is your place coming up isn't it?"

I hadn't realized how long we were walking till we stopped at my apartment building. I nodded, removing my scarf from covering my mouth.

Taehyung, once again, opened the door for me and carried my books to my apartment door. I fumbled around for my keys, my fingers felt so warm compared to my cheeks.

I finally found my keys in my Marry Poppin's-like purse and opened my door. This time, I held the door for him. But he didn't even notice because he seemed mesmerized while walking into my fairy lit apartment. "Wow..."

I chuckled, removing my big winter coat and scarf and hanging it up. After he stopped looking around he put the books down onto my desk. "Your apartment is...daebak!" Taehyung gave a thumbs up with his damn childish smile. I smiled gently back and excused myself.

"I'm going to go change into something warmer before we leave..." He nodded, sitting down on my couch before I left to my separate room.

I quickly changed into a sweater and leggings with a pair of boots. I fixed my messed up teacher ponytail and ended up just brushing it so I left it down. I got my simple purse and opened my door. "Ready."

I'm guessing he took that quite seriously because he quickly grabbed my hand after I put on my coat and lead me out the door. I swear my heart rate went up because I could hear it.

"Where are we going?" I said, trying to keep up with him. "It's a surprise~!"

I gently laughed, people looking at us as we passed by, but I didn't mind.

"Here~!" He said, pointing to a couple café. My eyes widened slightly. "Chinja?! "

"They have good food! Jebal~~~" He said, blinking his eyes in an aegyo. Why the heck is so cute? Is it possible for a guy to be hot and cute at the same time?

I sighed, opening the door to the café. It didn't have anyone here, so we were the only customers, I wonder why. But once we got in line to order, I realized our hands were still connected. I quickly pulled my hand away with a little blush. Taehyung noticed and let out a chuckle. Before he could say anything, the cashier asked for our order. Thank god...

He ended up ordering for me, telling me I'll love it. I shrugged, trusting his opinion and Taehyung lead me down to a small booth.

I looked around and was surrounded by a bunch of hearts and cute pictures of couples in Polaroid paper. I sighed, slightly feeling a sense of loneliness.

"Are you off for Christmas break?" He asked, poking a hole in the bubble tea he ordered. I nodded, "Finally..."

He tilted his head gently to the side. "Are you going anywhere for the season?" I sighed, not even knowing for myself. "I want to...but they're in Busan..."

"That's on the other side of the country..." I nodded, "A bus ticket would be crazy expensive and I'm only a preschool teacher." I let out a little giggle. Taehyung laughed as well but got an idea.

"What if I helped you get the money you need?" He said excitedly. I shook my head. "I couldn't let you do that."
"Consider it a Christmas gift!"

"But I haven't gotten any—" "You can take me with you!"

I tilted my head to the side, was he serious? "You're family though...you can't leave them on Christmas..." He shook his head. "Don't worry, my father has a business trip in Japan during that...I have no where to go, I'm going to be all alone, in the cold, starving..." He trailed off dramatically and I could help but to laugh.

"You are so dramatic.." I said with a giggle before our order was set on our table. "Can I go with you though if I raise the money?"

Another long sigh and I nodded slowly. A big rectangle grin spread across his face as his eyes lit up like a child's. "THANK YOU ELLA~!" He exclaimed, coming over to my side and hugging me tightly. A giggle left my throat and I patted his back softly. "Alright...I'll call my parents tomorrow..." I smiled, he went back to his seat with one as well and we dug into our food.

Taehyung was right, I did love this...

Okay so I've gotten out of my writer's block and decided to continue this story. But I'm not sure if I'll update every week but I'll try. I'm also in the midst of writing a GOT7 fanfic so if you'd like to read that, it's called "Juliet and the Seven Dorks"
