Chapter 6

"Let's go on a boat ride." My mom said as she clapped her hands. It was after our little brunch a couple days after Christmas. "Boat?" Taehyung said confused, it was slightly chilly out.

My father nodded, grabbing his coat. "Sure, why not?" I sighed, getting a hoodie. "My parents are crazy." I mumbled to Taehyung who laughed a little.

"C'mon guys! Hurry up!" Eric whined before V grabbed his jacket and we met them outside on the dock that was floating on the bay. "Woah..." He commented before getting on the boat.

I made my way to the front part of the boat where Taehyung sat next to me. My dad drove while my mom went in the passenger seat with Eric on her lap.

Once we got out of our dock, the wind got colder as we went faster. As my dad really started to go fast, Taehyung jumped and wrapped his arms around my waist. I laughed a little, I think he noticed what he did because he freaked out a little and got nervous.

Blushing gently, I relaxed into his embrace so he knew it was okay. Finally, he relaxed and held onto me as we explored the bay area.

We didn't stay out long due to the cold breeze that was hitting my red nose. Pulling into the dock again, Taehyung quickly removed his arms from my waist and got off the boat. While I got off, he offered his hand to help pull me up. I smiled and accepted his hand as he helped me up onto the dock.

"The last one to the kitchen is a rotten egg!" He said, letting go of my hand and getting a head start. "Yah!" I laughed and quickly tried to race up the yard.

My legs decided to go track star status because I got to the kitchen before he did. "Hah." I scoffed jokingly. He huffed and sat on the couch. "Hey, we have to pack...we're leaving tomorrow." I said, trying to get the almost adult boy up.

"I don't wanna~"

I sighed, "Fine, but I'm packing." Going up the stairs, I was stopped by my little brother, who was testy eyed. "What wrong Eric?" I tilted my head and took him in my arms out of instinct. "Y-you and h-hyung are l-leaving t-t-tomorrow..."

I wiped a small year from his cheek before kissing his forehead. "Eric, we'll be back before you know it, don't you worry." I gave him a reassuring smile, but he only pouted so I pouted as well. "Aw don't frown, noona needs you to smile so she can too, arraso?" He nodded, smiling widely so I smiled as well. "Good, I love you so much." I gave him a big hug which was only returned by his little arms. "I love you too noona!"

I giggled and separated from him, ruffling his hair before going upstairs.

I stopped by the guest room, seeing a light pop up from the desk. His phone. Don't do it Ella....

I couldn't help it though, it was lighting like every second. I bit my lip and walked to the phone. Password...think like Taehyung...

I typed in 1234 and it opened. I giggled quietly before going to his messages. Stop Ella, you're being so nosy...

I couldn't stop though, the phone seemed like it was blowing up with notifications. And looking at them, it was a group chat with his friends. Phew...

I was about to put the phone down before a message was sent from...Jungkook?

"Hyung, what are we doing for your birthday on Wednesday? "

December 30th...which means tomorrow....I have to get him something! I mean...I already got him something for Christmas but I need one for his birthday as well...

I'll think about it later, for now, I just need to pack.

And that's exactly what I did, I even decided to pack for Taehyung, I kind of felt bad for going in his phone so I packed his stuff for him. Then it was time for dinner, my mom made beef bulgolgi and Tae couldn't stop telling her how great it was.

I looked at the clock, 7:54 p.m. Alright, I can go to a little shop in the city if Taehyung doesn't go with.

I grabbed my shoes and purse before going back down the stairs. "I'm heading out for a bit!" I alarmed my mother in English so Taehyung wouldn't understand. "Alright honey! Come back soon!"

"Wait where are you going?" The alien asked curiously, tilting his head in the most adorable way. "I have to go get some stuff—" "Pabo...you can't walk around the city alone, I'm going with." He said, putting on his shoes and coat. I sighed, "No it's fine, it'll be super boring—" "I'm going with you no matter what."

I sighed again, giving up. I guess I'll buy him something somehow...

"Fine." I opened the door and made my way down to my mom's car. "You know how to drive?" I nodded and got in the driver's seat as he got into the passenger's.

I pulled out of the driveway, making my way out of the little neighborhood. The car ride was quiet, but it was comfortable not awkward because the radio was on and all you could hear was the sweet voice of G-Dragon.

I couldn't help but to sing along quietly, and Taehyung joined in too, singing every word of "Sunset Glow" by Big Bang. I giggled at him because he was doing little dances with the song.

sewol soge na ttohan mudyeojine " He rapped and I laughed at his silliness but he was actually really good, singing and rapping...his voice was so deep.

After out little Big Bang session, we arrived to a small city town of Busan that had a couple shops.

"Oh Ella let's go in here!" He pulled me into a toy store that sold candy as well. I swear this boy never fails to make me think he's Peter Pan or something that stays 5.

And just like a kid in a toy shop, he touched everything, wondering how it worked. I giggled and thanked the worker for putting up for it as we left to go to the next shop.

Shop after shop, he was like a little kid but made me laugh when he started dancing and singing to "Fantasic Baby" in a music store. Taehyung never fails to make me smile or laugh. I could almost imagine him doing the same with JY Park's "Who's your Mama?"

"Alright Tae, I think we should head home." I checked my phone to see it was 9:34. "One more stop..." He grabbed my had and ran to an ice cream shop.

I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but to smile and even blush to our contact.

"One chocolate and one mint chocolate chip cone!" He told the employee, grinning widely. After paying, she gave us our ice cream and we ended sitting down in a little booth.

"How'd you know?" I asked, licking my ice cream happily. "I got a lot of information from your mom, including you're favorite ice cream flavor." He gave his signature smile. Wow thanks mom.

"Mm let's take a selca!" He said, pulling out his phone and taking a selfie of the two of us with our ice cream. I giggled at the picture and sat back down.

"thanks for coming with me...I had fun tonight." My lips tilted up to a smile, focusing on my almost finished cone. "Anytime Ella!" Chuckling, he threw out his left over.

"I have to use the bathroom quickly, I'll meet you in the car, arraso?"

I nodded, this is perfect.

We parted ways and I rushed to the candy shop where I held a bunch of his favorite candies from the worker. I also had the employee from a department store to hold a pair of shoes I bought earlier without him knowing.

After picking those up and racing to the car to hide them, Taehyung came back and got into the car.

We soon arrived home around 10:48, and I quickly went upstairs to put his presents in my suitcase before hanging out with my parents and Taehyung for awhile.

Hello! So sorry for the late chapter but I had so much going on haha. Omg Hobi in the video tho...I have officially put J-Hope as my official bias list ruined along with sweet Suga *sigh* but really, who hasn't been wrecked by all the bangtan boys T.T Again I should apologize in advance due to my complicated musical rehearsals, studying, and hip hop dance classes. I'm also trying to learn Korean at the moment so it's a lot right now but I'll manage somehow, fighting!
