Chapter 9

I walked myself out of the school and down the city's sidewalks to my apartment, that was until I got a call from one of my really good friends.

"Ella! Girl, I just got a job doing makeup on some guys in a band and I need to celebrate!" My friend, Jiyoon yelled over the phone, making me move it away from my ear quickly. I chuckled in response, happy for her.

"Where to? I just got done with work..." "You just got done? It's like 6 and school ends at 2..."

My face flushed a bright red, and the people around me could probably point this out. I already get enough attention for being a foreigner.

"I- um had this meeting so I got out a little late." Knowing my friend, she wouldn't fall for this. "Mhm, ya girl okay...let's meet up at Coffee Prince, and there you can tell me all about you're little friend boy."

The phone call ended right after that, leaving me speechless and yet not surprised. Jiyoon is....unique? She was my first friend since I moved to South Korea, she's basically why I wanted to move to Seoul. Her beauty school was here, so she had to move away from Busan and away from me, so I found a job here and we're together again. Sort of.

I looked at my surroundings to see where exactly I was, and to my luck, I was around a block or two from Coffee Prince. ((Yes ik copyright belongs to owners blah blah blah I'm just not creative enough to come up with a good names xD ))

I made my way there and with a smile, my eyes landed on my best friend. "Omg Ella!" Jiyoon rushed up and hugged me tightly, not a usual thing to do here but I hugged her back anyway. "I literally saw you–" "Sssshhhh." She shushed me and I laughed.

We soon got ourselves a table and ordered cups of coffee, talking about what we did over Christmas break, at least she was. "—and he got us two tickets to go see G-Dragon live! L-I-V-E, live! Like as in seeing him in real life, in his real dewy beautiful flesh! Holy crap I think he's a vampire because he just sparkles in the light, ya know? I can't believe Jae spent that money just for me to see GD oppa!" Jiyoon finally took a deep breath. This was Jiyoon, a major, MAJOR, fangirl, I didn't mind, it entertained me. Plus, I fangirl sometimes with her.

Jae, her boyfriend, got them both tickets to see G-Dragon live, over Christmas break. Their relationship was extremely cute, one of those where they've been friends forever and started dating finally in high school. Unfortunately, Jae has been extremely busy because he got into an entertainment to be a singer, the same one as 2PM I think.

"So...what boy have you been seeing over these last couple of months?" A simple statement from Jiyoon could escalate a whole entire conversation for the rest of the day, usually making me embarrassed or happy. "Um, well, it's not really a thing...we kind of just met each other by my boss....and he was alone for Christmas...so I invited him to my parent's house–"

"Girl tell me more because I know you were just going to end that with a 'so yea' "

Why did she know me so well?

"Alright...well he's been also acting strange, canceling hang outs and coming overs, due to him being busy. It hasn't bothered me until today, he didn't mean it but he said he couldn't risk being seen with me...it made me feel like nothing. I don't know...but then he made it up and we kind of..." I trailed off, embarrassed to say that we kissed. I've had my first kiss before, but after that I hadn't kissed anyone since. It was still new to me. Jiyoon's eyes widened and laughed, "You guys had sex, didn't you?! Oh my gosh! You aren't a virgin anymore, congratulations El–" "No! We just kissed!"

My face was probably the color of the red velvet cake the couple next to our table was eating. Jiyoon laughed even harder, thinking it was funny that she suspected more than a kiss. "Well that's embarrassing." I sighed and placed my head in my hands on the table. Although I couldn't help but to laugh at my best friend. "I can't believe you said that..."

"Hey, it'll happen sometime." She shrugged, munching on her brownie she got. "Well not anytime soon."

"Anyway...what's this boy's name?" "Kim Taehyung, why?"

Her eyes widened, making me stare at her with confusion. "What?"

"Oh my god....like Kim Taehyung? Like V Kim Taehyung!? Like alien Kim Taehyung?!" Her voice got louder with each sentence, making some people look over at our table. "I guess so...why?"

Jiyoon quickly got out her cellphone, opening something then turning the screen towards me. It was a picture of Tae, but he had a bit of makeup on. "Is this him?"

I simply nodded and she shut off her phone. "Ella, please tell me you know that he's a big idol apart of the new rookie band, Bangtan Boys and that he has a million trillion fans wanting to kill to be in your position and I know this because...I'm their new makeup artist..."

Taking a minute to take all of this information in, I laughed. "Wow you really are something Ji..."

I thought she'd laugh along with me but she kept still, looking dead serious. That's when I put it all together. All of the rein checking on plans, the cancelling of dates, not wanting to go out in public....it made sense.

"Oh my god..."

"Come on, I know you want to do some research at home, so let's have a sleepover at my place with ice cream and YouTube...you have a lot to catch up on.." Jiyoon and I left a tip on the table before we boarded a bus to her apartment. The whole ride their I kept silent, still thinking about Taehyung. He's an idol...

We got to her apartment, and as soon as we got there she got me a bowl of ice cream, handing it to me and saying, "Are you ready to experience BTS?"

I nodded hesitantly, wondering if he was different when on camera. She opened her laptop and typed in the search engine, "War of Hormone"

From there on, we watched mv's, bts bombs, funny moments, interviews, vines, and some clips from a show called American Hustle Life. The entire time I was laughing, they all were just like how they were when I met them, especially Tae. He was the same 4D little alien who was so adorable and funny.

After, we both got tired and decided to call it a night, crawling into our sleeping bags like the old times and falling asleep.

But something kept me awake, how will I tell him I know? Should I? Or should I just keep quiet? The questions kept eating at me till I finally fell asleep into a deep slumber.

Hey guys! Ik I'm extremely late for updating but I have good reasons lol
1. It's a new semester and I have a hard AP course that is taking up my life
2. I'm lazy
3. I have musical rehearsals every day from 3-6 and even some Saturday's
4. I have dance classes every Thursday from 7 to 8
5. Homework from AP World and Biology

So yea please bare with me bc I somewhat have a life outside of wattpad but I love writing so I'll still update when I can.
