"hey josh?" tyler whispered, gripping his boyfriends chest lightly.
"yeah ty?" he replied, looking down at the brown eyed boy.
"I need to show you something. I feel like once I do it'll make me feel somewhat better, confident even."
tyler got off the bed and stood in the center of the room. his hands shaking as he slowly removed his shirt.
Tyler's instinct was to cover his bate chest, and he did. but he soon took his shaking hands away from his chest, his arms dropping to the side.
he heard josh gasp, and heard the bed creak and then tiny footsteps towards him. josh was in front of him tracing the scar across his chest.
tyler flinched, not used to a touch so foreign before.
"I-I know its not the prettiest thing. hell, if you found it ugly I wouldn't be surprised." tyler whispered, his voice cracking.
josh lifted tyler's chin with his finger and saw that the boy had tears welling up in his eyes. josh kissed his forehead, then his eyelids, & his lips.
"you're beautiful tyler, this scar just shows that you overcame that obstacle in your life & you've reached your goal. You are so so beautiful to me, nothing will change that okay?"
josh pressed a kiss to tyler's lips and tyler tangled his hands in josh's hair. tyler kissed josh as if he was his last breath of air. not wanting to break away at all.
"I love you josh." tyler said, his arms wrapped around the other boys middle & his head on his shoulder.
"I love you too, baby boy."
