CHAPTER 20

Nakakapanibago na wala paring higanteng pumapasok ng office ko. Half of daytime going to be ended and yet wala parin sya. Yes , I am expecting him because he made me used to have his presence every morning. Mostly before lunch which we took together.

Last night when I leave his pad , we were okey , I guess , but I feel like we're not. Or maybe it just me who felt guilty because I leave him alone with those delivered foods that he prepared for us. And maybe , for my white lies.

My intercom rang , I give a glance on it before press the answer button lazily. Aira won't surely say that Tristan arrived naman kasi eh. Remember? He don't use to do any kind of permission before entering in my office. That shows rudeness but I care less. Makita ko lang sya sa pagbukas ng pintuan ng office ko , forgiven na sya. LOL

"Yes?" I said lamely.

"Miss K , Mr. Chairman called and asked you to go in his office right now." Aira declared with her respectful tone. I just said my okey and hang up and leave my office. Aira vow as she saw me.

I look at the right and left corner of the long and wide hallway , nagbabakasali na baka may makita akong isang napagkagwapog higante na patungo sa saakin but seeing how clear the corridor just made my shoulder fell and sigh with further disappointment. Nagtungo ako sa private elevator and press the panel button of the highest floor of the building , where the Chairman (Note : I'd change the President to chairman ha. Basta Tatay yan ni Lhyka HAHA)  office located , alone. It was such a late reaction for me to realized what Tito did just now , he called Aria instead of me? Usually naman kasi , he directed the call to me with this kind of unexpected meet up.

Ano naman kaya ang sasabihin ni Tito? Ayain ko nalang muna siguro syang maglunch , wala akong makakasama eh. Hayys. Why I feel like it's such an adjustment? Samatalang ilang taon naman na akong madalas maglunch magisa since I started to work here. And it's not because I am no friendly or what , it just I avoid being attached to anyone. Reason? Simple as I just used to it dati pa. I almost studied with my own , no bunches of friend , no buddy except for Lhyka way back on my school days.

"Good Morning Miss K." Eula greeted as I opens the door. Her lips with glowing lippie plaster a smile , I'm thinking tuloy kung sadyang glossy lang ba talaga ang lipstick nya o kumain sya ng mamantika?

Okey! I'm being mean with her nowadays! Ayoko naman talagang magmaldita sakanya eh , kaso kusang nagaactivate ang disgusting engine ko kapag nakikita ko sya. Why? Simple lang , I found out kasi na nagkaroon sila ng 'something' ni Tristan dati. Well. Hindi na ako masusurprise , she's damn sexy and pretty , Tristan's type drastically. Ugh! Naiinis na naman tuloy ako sakanya! Naalala ko na naman kung paano ko nalamang may naging ugnayan sila ng higanteng iyon!

One time , I used the regular elevator with her and heard her friend talking about Tristan. Well Hearing those Giants name wasn't new , bukambibig kasi sila ng mga babaeng empleyado dito. Yung iba nga yata ay nagwowork here just to have a legal relation with team , work probably or maybe easy way to flirt with them. Her friend is saying how hot the players are and commented that the captain was the hottest and this Eula said "Yah. Magaling pa." She agreed proudly , ewan but I feel like sinasadya nya talagang ilakas ang boses nya to be heard by other passenger not knowing that I am one of them. By that simple comment by her , alam ko na ang ibig sabihin non. Ugh! Disgusting! Kainis! Narinig ko din na almost year ago na since nagdate sila ni Tristan but still. It's UGH! And wow for the word 'date' ha? Baka bedding? Mas alam ni Tristan na dalhin ang mga babae nya sa kama kesa sa lamesa na may candle light servings! Psh!
