My ex, Chris, walked up to Liam and I. Great, this is just what I needed. I just had the best night of my entire life, with my new boyfriend, and my old one comes to ruin it. Chris was handsome, but was nothing compared to Liam. He wore his old worn out blue jeans, a white t-shirt, his black leather jacket and his brown cowboy boots. He had bold straight eyebrows, thin lips, a nose that made his green eyes seem pushed back further than they really are and a sweet southern accent. His thick, broad shoulders made him seem tougher on the outside than he really was.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't my gal and the gay bastard who's trying to steal her. Good luck bud, she's still in love with me. Isn't that right, babe?" Chris asked walking closer to us. Liam instinctively put his arm around me. I stood up, this was my battle, not Liam's.
"Listen here, asshole. I was never in love with you, I was in love with the idea of being in love with you. If he was gay then why would he be better in bed then you would imagine to be? Hmm. Fuck off, Chris. I don't want you here." I pointed towards the exit and stared at him. He didn't budge a muscle.
"Hun, what happened to my sexy accent?" He asked, still standing in the same place and slightly pout his lips. I used to think his accent and his pout were adorable, now they disgust me.
"Ha! My boyfriend, Liam's accent is way hotter. Admit it Chris, you never loved me. Liam and I are an official couple today and you can see in his eyes how much he cares about me. It may not be love yet, but what we have now is way more than you and I ever did. In your eyes, all I see is lust, not love." I said. I can't believe he found me here, in a closed mall. I've tried so hard to forget about him and move on. He was a bad idea, he broke my heart like it was no big deal. All I want is Liam, no one else. I know, it sounds so cliche, but I'm speaking the truth.
"You're right, I didn't love you. I loved that body," he said making an hour glass figure in the air, "Now, I have this little slut that i've had to pay for to make up for your absence. I need you, in bed now so I can punish you for being a bad girl." Oh hell nah! This little skinny girl who appeared to be around sixteen with make up running down her face and blond hair with a pixie cut stepped out from behind him. She seemed scared. Poor girl was roped into his fake trap.
"My girlfriend is not a whore. She is a beautiful girl who deserves someone like me who will love her more than she can even wrap her mind around. You don't even deserve to talk to her, you little piece of shit." And with that, Liam walked up and punched Chris square in the face. He shook his hand a couple of times to stop the pain as bloody-faced Chris lay on the floor, unconscious. The little girl simply walked out, she seemed like weight was taken off of her shoulders. She didn't even look back to see what she is leaving.
"Liam, I'm so sorry that he ruined our first date. I haven't even spoken to him since we broke up. I don't know why he wants me back after all of these years and --" I was interrupted with Liam's slightly chapped lips pressed up against mine. The kiss was a little more needy than our last, but still sweet.
"Look me in the eyes. You don't need to worry about it. It wasn't your fault. Everyone has that crazy ex. Yours happened to be a physco," I giggled and wrapped my arms around his torso, placing my head on his chest, "Now, let's go to part two of our date." We walked hand in hand to our flat underneath the blanket of thousands of stars. I can't believe that I am so lucky to have Liam. Most guys would've walked away from the relationship, but he isn't every other guy.
"No, i'm not every other guy, love. You were thinking aloud again. You are so different from the thousands of girls i've met. You care so much about others, you love with all your heart, you are so passionate about writing and music, you are hilarious and most importantly you care about me." He stopped and pulled me close, resting his forehead on mine. I feel so special and loved already. This was only the beginning.
We walked into the living room to reveal the one and only Simon Cowell. "Hi, Ann Marie. I've heard so many good things about you. Now from what your new boyfriend has told me, you can sing. Is that correct?"
"Wow. It's such an honor to meet you! I can kind of sing. In my opinion, it's okay, but nothing compared to the boys." I replied. I can't believe that i'm meeting Simon Cowell. He's such a big name in the music industry. I'd love to work with him.
"Well, sing for me then, love." He said gesturing to a grand piano we had put in the flat. I sat down and stroaked the keys oh so gently. I pulled out Mirrors by Justin Timberlake. I've been working on hitting the pitches since he released the song.
I finished singing the song and looked up nervously to see a smiling Simon and Liam. My ears were filled with clappter. I can't believe that I pulled it off that well. "Well, little missy, you've got quite a talent. Let's meet on Monday to discuss signing you to our company, yeah?" I nodded. I ran up and hugged Simon and Liam. "Now, let's discuss the situation with Harry. Liam, please tell me exactly what happened."
