*Liam’s POV*
~~2 Years Later~~
The music kicked up as Leila walked down the isle with Zayn followed by Emma & Niall, Kelsey & Louis, Harry & Annie’s little sister Lauren, Andy & Ruth and Ed & Nicola. The girls were wearing a salmon colored dress that had a heart shaped top and stopped mid-thigh. They carried pink and white roses. Everyone stood up, looking back to see my bride. My heart literally stopped at the sight of her beauty. Her hair was curly, but it was perfectly pinned back. Her dress was white with a heart looking top then went into a ballroom gown. Her dad was hooked on her arm as she smiled at everyone as she walked down that isle. Her dad stopped to give her one last kiss before handing her off to me. We walked up to the preacher and looked in each others eyes while holding hands.
“We are gathered today to celebrate and witness as Liam and Annie are joined together in marriage. This evening you commit to love, honor, and cherish each other as long as you both shall live. Marriage is perhaps the greatest and most challenging adventure of human relationships. No ceremony can create your marriage; only you can do that through love and patience; through dedication and perseverance; through talking and listening, helping and supporting and believing in each other; through tenderness and laughter; through learning to forgive, learning to celebrate your differences, and by learning to make the important things matter, and to let go of the rest. What this ceremony can do is to witness and affirm the choice you make to stand together for the rest of your lives. Does anyone have any reason that this beloved couple, should not wed tonight?"
"IF ANYONE SAYS NO YOU ARE GOING TO DIE!" Leila shouts as she stood by Annie's side. The room filled with silence, and Leila continued, "Go on preacher man." I simply laughed and shook my head. I have learned to love Annie's friends with their different quirks through these years. They have been like sisters to me, even if they do threaten to kill me every once in a while, but that's sisterly love.
"Liam, I now ask you - do you take Ann Marie to be your wife? Will you love her, honor her, comfort her, and keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, as long as you both shall live?” The minister spoke, but all I could focus on was how lucky I was that life gave me a second chance. A second chance to have the best thing in my life and never let her go.
*Flashback*
I walked up to her dad's front door, reaching to ring the doorbell, but the door opened before i could. Her dad stood there, shock on his face. "Hey Liam. Are you taking good care of my baby? Please say she is okay." It was obvious that he was worried that in some way I hurt his little girl.
I chuckled, "She's perfectly fine," He sighed," I actually came to talk to you."
"Missing me already?" He laughed, "Come on in." He stepped back and I walked into the small house that Annie spent her teenage years in, the house full of so many memories that I have heard of and been apart of. We walked straight into the living room and sat down. "Do you want coffee? Wait, you drink tea in England. Do you want some tea?" He asked.
"No thank you. Oh, we also drink coffee." I laughed. It's funny the things that Americans think about us Brits. For example, we all apparently have tea with the Queen. I have done that once, maybe twice. "Sir, I would like to ask for your daughter's hand in marriage, with your blessing of course." I said, fiddling with my hands.
