Chapter 10 part 2

Nathan POV

  "You think WHAT?" Tom yelled.

"Shut up," I told him.

"What do you mean that you "think" your falling in love with her? You only meet her yesterday," he whispered.

"I don't know," I sighed, putting my hand through my hair in frustration.

Tom was thinking for a second. "What did you do?" I sighed and went to the living room as Tom followed.

I sat there thinking about her and forgetting that Tom wanted an answer.

"I kissed her."

"YOU WHAT!"

I smacked my hands on my face. Tom really don't know how to keep his mouth shut.

Kali POV

  Jessica is definitely Nathan's sister.Which gave me a strange feeling for no reason.

We stood in the library till I had to go to my next class. We exchanged each others numbers and said goodbye.

I got to my next class and sated down on my seat. I was early since the library was close to the room.

"Hello Kali," said Mr.Elson.

"Hi," I whisper, looking at my hands.

"You had mist your class yesterday and you need to be set with a partner," she exclaimed, looking through papers in a clip board. "And since only you and another wasn't here, you'll be partners." I gave her a small smile. She gave me a packet and went back to her desk.

I waited a couple of minutes till the teacher began the class. "Okay class, please sit next to your partner and continue with your packet. And for you Kali, you'll be working with him," she pointed to someone behind me.

I turned around and my heart sinked. He looked at me and his face went pale.

"And you must be Nathan," said the teacher, heading to Nathan and giving him a packet.

I turned around at my seat so wouldn't be looking at him. She started talking to him. I really hope it would stay like this for the whole class, but frankly she called out my name.

"Kali, please come here." I got out of my seat very slowly. When I finally turned around, Nathan was looking out the window, trying to ignore me.

"You can sit next to Nathan and both work on the packet." I gave her a weak smile as she went back to her desk.

I sat at the empty seat next to Nathan. I felt my legs bouncing up and down from the floor. I put my hands on my thighs, trying to clam myself down. Nathan started looking through the packet but wouldn't dare to talk to me. I looked at him as I saw his jaw tighten.

I felt drain by leaving him but it was too much to bare with. Plus, we just meet yesterday. That's has to be like a new world record.

"Are you going to help," Nathan whisper, still not looking at me.

I hesitated not knowing what to say. "Y-Yeah, I guess."

I scooted my chair a little closer to him, but not too much so I can give him his own space. We read the packet silently to ourselves for a couple of minutes. But let's face it, I wasn't really reading, I was thinking of every minute that me and Nathan was with each other and how it lead to that kiss.

  Nathan POV

I can't believe that I have Kali in my other class-to make things worse, she's my partner in this class too!
