Finding Music For Love (Nathan Sykes FF)

Chapter 3

Kali POV

After the invite to lunch he gave me his number and frankly I gave him my number.

I went to my dorm and Sara wasn't there. I don't know what the hell to wear. I know it's just lunch, plus there just a band but I guess I have to look good.

I stand in the middle of my dorm trying to figure out what had just happened and what did I get myself into. After 5 minutes of just thinking I got a text. Nathan.

Nathan:  'Hi!'

What the hell is wrong with this guy? But I manage to text back.

  Me:   'Hi'

Nathan:  'Were going to eat at Ocean Buffet' ( a buffet down town from the college. I'v only been there once.)

Me:   'okay. What time?'

Nathan:   '1:15. If that's good for you?'

Me:   'That's good'

Nathan:  'Okay then. I'll pick you up later. Bye! :) '

Me:   'Bye'

Great now he's going to pick me up with the rest of the band. Lovely! It was only 12:13 so I had time to take a shower and get ready.

  Nathan POV

I might sound crazy and all but there's something about her. She's really different from the other girls-in a good way.

When I got to my dorm I started to get ready with the rest of the mates

. "So tell me about that girl you meet," Siva said coming into my room.

"It's really nothing I just ran into her and I asked if she wanted to come for lunch and she said yes, that's all."

"It was funny!" Tom popped out of no were. "Nathan didn't notice her and he fell on top if her! I tried to tell her to watch out, but she was too late."I didn't know Tom was there when it happened.

"That really happened Nath?" Siva ask me.

"Frankly yes," I said scratching the back of my head.

"Hey Nathan!" Max yelled from the kitchen. "Me and the guys are going to leave early so you can pick up that girl!"

"Whatever!" The guys said good bye and left to Ocean Buffet.

It was just me by myself, soon going to pick up Kali.  

Kali POV

It was nearly time for me to go. I finally got out of the shower but still didn't know what to wear. As I'm still in my towel looking for something to wear, Nathan text me again.

Nathan:   'What dorm do you live in?'

Me:   'I live in the 4th building, number 105'

Nathan:  'Thanks. See you in 10 min. :). '

WHAT! Did I stood in the shower for too long? Great, now I have to really rush and get ready.

I went to my drawer and got a pair of underwear's and a bra. After I put it on I went to my side of the closet and looked for a shirt. I took the first one I saw and got a pair of skinny jeans. Then I went and put on sandal- high heels. I went to put on my necklace until the door rang.

I open the door to see Nathan. Surprisingly I thought I was going to see the rest of the band, but I didn't.

"Hi," I said, trying to sound excited that he's here.

"Hey. Are you ready?"

"Yeah, let me just get my bag and we can go," I said leaving the door open and heading to my room.

"You can come in if you like!" I got my purse and went to the living room and found him sitting in the couch. He looked puzzled when he saw me and couldn't stop looking at me.  

Nathan POV

"You can come in if you like!" She yelled. I closed the door behind me and sat on the couch.

When she came back from the room she looked stunning. I couldn't stop staring at her. Her long hair was curly, and her beautiful blue eyes made her looked more gorgeous.

'SNAP OUT OF IT!' I told myself, 'she's just another girl taking her out for lunch because stupid me had to run her over.

"Uhhh.... Shall we go?" I tried my best not to look like a freak.

"Yeah."

  Kali POV

As we were walking it was completely awkward in many ways. We talk little about how old we are, where we were born, and things like that- but very simple, nothing personal.

We walked to the parking lot and I couldn't believe my eyes. Right in front of me was a black Hummer limo.

I just stood there stunned, till Nathan and I heard screaming freaks.

"Uh, you got company I guess," I joked but he gave a serious look like 'it isn't the time to joke around.'

"Oh no. We got to go. Come on!" Nathan grabbed my hand and open the limo door so I can get in.

That quick second when he hold my hand I flinch and was thinking, 'since when in the hell could you just hold my hand? I could have got in the car without your help.' But it wasn't the time.
