Paige's P.O.V
Thunder and lightning crackled furiously outside.Rain heavily showered the area in downpours.
"Do you think Maddie's still coming?" Asked Nia, picking at the discoloured patches of fur on her pig puppet.
"How could she?Look outside!She'd be crazy to go outside in this weather!" Shrieked Kendal, opening the cover of a Beyoncé CD and slipping the disk into the faded pink stereo she had bought along.
"Yeah your probably right" giggled Chloe sweetly
The lyrics of Single Ladies boomed through the speakers of the stereo
"Can you put on Brittany Spears next?" I asked, stuffing my face with crisps
Suddenly the door of the barn let out a loud CREEEEEAAAAAAK!
We jumped up in fright, holding each other close.The door began to slowly swing open.We screamed loudly more scared than we'ed ever been.Suddenly a shadowy figure jumped from behind the door.We shrieked almost crying in fear
"Boo!" Giggled the devious laugh of Madison Ziegler
"Maddie that wasn't funny!You scared us silly!" Chloe shook furiously
Maddie scoffed and rolled her eyes, "Chlo stop being such a baby!I thought you were over the girl who balled her eyes out when she forgot her dance at nationals, guess I was wrong!" She snarled
Chloe's P.O.V
I can't believe she just said that!Tears formed in my eyes, threatening to spill, however I couldn't let them, I blinked them back.
"Oh is baby Chloe sad?" Maddie cackled at her own remark and I wiped the tears from my eyes
"Just stop it Maddie!" Shrieked Paige
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me!"
"Oh Yay!Paigey Mack finally found a voice!Good for you!Too bad you hadn't found it before!" Maddie smirked shooting daggers with her eyes directly towards Paige.
Paige shivered at her words and silently mumbled something no body could make out.
Before? What does that mean?
"But speaking of Nationals, did you guys here what happened to Sophia Lucia?Somebody put something in her drink!Its awful! She's in hospital and everything!" Frowned Nia
"Yeah it's terrible!Hey weren't you backstage when that happened Chlo?" Maddie asked innocently.
WHAT WAS SHE DOING?!
"It smells funny in here!" Maddie held her nose in disgust.
She reached into her pocket and her hand reappeared grasping a lighter.Smiling she lit 7 vanilla scented candles that sat on a small wooden crate we used as a table, and soon the soothing scent of vanilla essence had wafted around the Hyland's barn.
Black spots started to appear until it had completely taken over my vision.I fell to the ground and that's all I remeber

My eyes fluttered open.I stared up at the barn ceiling, to clueless to move.I leaned up on my elbows using all of the very little energy I had.I found a recently awoken Kendal and Nia sitting up, but no Maddie or Paige.
"Where's Maddie and Paige?" I asked
"Wwe ddon't know!" Stuttered Kendal fearfully
"I haven't seen neither of them after, Maddie lit those candles I think." Added Nia
Suddenly the door swung open and Paige entered the barn, but there was no sign of Maddie
"Where's Maddie?" Questioned Kendal
Paige bit her lip, "I don't know, I looked every where for her!...I think I heard her scream..."
