Paige's P.O.V
"Hm, they must be in here somewhere!" I murmured to myself, as I pulled out photo albums from my drawer, trying to find the most exceptional photograph to be copied and painted onto a canvas for my yearly self portrait.
I hadn't a clue why my parents still chose to have our self portraits, and I hadn't a clue why our parents still chose to call them self portraits considering we didn't paint them ourselve, hired professionals did, but I don't mind as long as mine looks better than Brooke's!
My elder sister Brooke has always been the favourite and I've always just been there.Nobody ever thought of me in the same light as Brooke, I've always been the youngest Hyland or Brooke's younger sister but from now on I'm going to be the prettiest!
Because with every stroke of the brush, every splash of colour I am going to look better than Brooke!And everyone will know it!
"To blurry, to fake and to try hard!" I critiqued, dropping the now fully looked through album, I dug through the balls of scrunched up paper until my hand felt something hard and rectangular
"What's that?" I pulled out the rectangle which just so happened to be a box with a familiar neat cursive handwriting on the side that read, Don't Open Until You Don't Remember What's In It! Well I don't!
I lifted the lid to see a bunch if photographs maybe there's one that I could use!I picked up one from the messy pile and immediately wished I hadn't.Tears formed in the corners of my eyes and I remembered what was in the box...
*FLASHBACK*
"Mads we have way to many photos!" I laughed
"Yeah we do, you know what I would hate to loose them so why don't we keep them somewhere safe!" She grinned
"Yeah, hey look at this one!" I held up a photo of us the beach.Holding hands in a mid walkover!
"I remember that!"
"Yeah me too!"
We decorated a box with rhinestones and glitter and markers and stored all of our photos in there
*END OF FLASHBACK*
Tears began to spill as I continued to look through the photos when I saw a piece of ripped paper, it must be a a good luck message teat we use to write to eachother I picked it up, my heart froze

"PAIGE GET REDAY FOR DANCE!"
"Y-yeah sure mom" I stuttered, burying the nite in the box and shoving the box under the paper
