Janice POV
I walk through Baby Gap with Patience and we saw a lot of cute stuff.
"I like this one, " I said showing her the baby outfit I saw.
"That is too cute," she said taking it from me.
"Come we have to go before your father goes crazy that I spent a whole lot of money on our baby, " she said and I laughed. I love Patience, she's like a mother figure to me. She is the mother I always wanted. We always hang out and I can always tell her anything. She never tells my dad and she's like my best friend. She tells me things she doesn't tell my father and I'm glad that I can be that person. As we paid for the clothes and was walking out of baby Gap, I ran into Bryson.
"Hey Janice, " he said hugging me.
"Hey, " I said smiling. "Hey Patience, you look lovely today, " he said hugging her. Patience laugh and hugged him back.
"Hey Bryson. You are so adorable, " she said as she walked pass him.
"Well gotta go. I see you later, " I said and he nodded.
"See you later best, " he said kissing my forehead. I blushed and walked away.
"I don't wonder why you don't date that boy. He's so sweet, cute and you guys knew each other forever. Your dad even likes him. I approve of him, " she said and I laughed.
"Patience we only friends, " I said and she smirked.
"Yeah, yeah friends now but lovers later, " she said and I laughed. "Me and your father was the same way, shit, I'm glad we made it official. I would of went crazy if I didn't have your father, " she said and I was done. She really loves my dad and he does too.
When we got to the house my dad was coming down the stairs looking like he just woke up. He looked adorable.
"Hey baby, " Patience said walking to my dad.
"Hey baby, " he said kissing her lips and grabbing her butt. I cleared my throat and my dad made the most funniest face. I laughed even Patience did.
"Hey daddy's baby, " he said hugging me and kissing my cheek.
"Hey dad, " I said laughing. "How did you sleep? " I asked him.
"I went to work last night and came back this morning, so I guess good. Still a little tired though, " He said as he grabbed Patience hand and went upstairs. Now that is my cue to leave. I called up Bernalise and she didn't answer. I called Tiana, no answer either. I was just gonna be solo today. I grabbed my keys and my phone and was out the house.
I went around town walking around. I was just so fascinated by the stuff I saw. The city was so beautiful during the day and especially at night. I went to the Loca Lounge and sat and had lunch. I was eating patiently, enjoying my food till this guy sat at my table. I didn't notice who it was tell I was about to say something. It was Bryson of course but with this other female.
"Hey best, " he said taking a fry of my plate.
"Get your own food, " I laughed moving my plate away.
"Janice meet Leah, my sister. Leah this is Janice, " he said and she waved at me and gave me a warm smile. It felt nice. I did the same. She was so pretty, a little younger but very pretty.
"Janice, are you guys dating? " she asked me. I just looked at Bryson and he look at me.
"Leah, we're just friends, you remember Jamie? That's the person I'm with. Janice and I are just friend, " he said and I nodded. They've been together since freshman year and he always comes to me with his problems. I don't mind helping I just don't like the bitch. She's rude, arrogant and ignorant. She don't care about nobody but herself and I bet she's only with Bryson because of his money. He works with his dad as an assistant at the law firm. He gets paid a lot of money and he spoils the hell out that girl and she never is around when we chill cause Bryson knows I can't stand her.
"But I don't like her, she's mean, " Leah said and I high fived her. That bitch, one time she was stuck in the rain and I offered to pick her up. She said and I quote, "I don't ride or hang out with dusty bitches. " Right on the phone when Bryson and I were on our way to pick her up. That bitch almost got her ass beat that day and the day when she constantly when I was around Bryson, she threw drinks in my face or spilled them on me. I don't go to parties anymore because of her.
"Thank you, I agree she's mean to me to girl, " I said and Leah laughed.
"I like her, " she said and I smiled. I finished my food and we talked the rest of the time I was there. Leah is six years old and is really smart. She plays basketball and Bryson told me she might play with the middle school this year because she's that skilled. I find that cute. Little mama got a ball player in her soul. I respect that all the way.
It was getting dark by the time we left. We departed and went out separate ways. When I got home, my dad and Patience were getting it in. Ugh, why couldn't I just stay out. I grabbed my iPad, my beats and web on the balcony. I listen to Bryson Tiller, my favorite artist. That's bae right there. I was texting Bryson in the process.
B : So can we all chill tomorrow, it's only for this luncheon at my dads job?
Me: I don't know Bryson you know I don't like her, why would you put us in the same room together?
B : Come on Niecey, it's not even going to be no talking. My dad wants me to go and I want you and her there. If she not going to go, I still want my best friend there.
Me: alright I'll go but if she comes crazy I can't make no promises.
B : Yay thank you.
Me: No problem.
I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around and it was Patience. She came out and sat by me in a silk robe.
"Wassup? " she said.
"Nothing just texting my friend. I couldn't be in there with you two going in on each other like wild animals, " I said and she laughed.
"Sex with that man is amazing. When the time is right for you, trust me that Shit is gonna change your life and how you see things, " she said and I laughed. I know she wasn't serious and that's what made it more funny. Bryson luncheon isn't until two months so I have plenty of time before we go. I just hope no shit goes down or there will be some problem. I'm not the one to start them but I will be the one that will finish them.
