"That was our promise. Remember?"
You said under your breath as you saw Woozi your ex- boyfriend on the TV at the coffee shop you were at.
Flashback to a year ago
"Let's make a promise y/n " Woozi said to you as he jumped on the bed you two shared.
"What kind of promise?" You said to him as you looked up to him from your phone.
"A promise that we will never leave each other no matter what happens." He said to you while sitting on the bed looking directly into your eyes.
"Ok. Deal. I promise I will never leave you no matter what happens." You say to him as you raise your pinky finger to pinky promise with him.
"Ditto." He said as you two intertwined pinky fingers making it an official promise. He smiled at you lovingly as you smiled back at him.
End of flashback
"That was happier times. I guess he never really meant it. I mean he is famous now." You thought to yourself as you sighed while diverting your head from the screen. "The sad thing is we didn't even stay friends."
You started to walk out of the store when you ran into somebody's chest. You looked up to realize who this somebody is.
"Woozi." You could feel your heart beating faster as you said this in an almost whisper. He had just walked in with his new idol girlfriend. As you backed up to slide out of the doorway he made a tsk sound in annoyance. Your heart hurt a little bit from that.
Raising your hand to your chest you thought"Wait why is this happening I thought I moved on. Ya that's right hes just a jerk who doesn't care. I don't need him." trying to get rid of the feeling.
For the next couple days you kept on running into woozi at all kinds of shops. Every time you made eye contact with him he would just glare at you.
Today you were going to your favorite music shop to buy some albums. While you were there you ran into Joshua.
"Hey y/n whats up?" Joshua said as he approached you while waving
"Just buying some albums." You answered while holding up the album you were planning to buy.
"You wanna get some sweets and sit outside at the park?"
"Ya sure I have some time." You said back to him. (In reality you had nothing better to do)
You and Joshua got some sweets and went out to the park to chat. You could feel that Joshua wanted to say something but he was holding it back.
"Hey what's wrong. Just tell me what it is." You said as you nudged his elbow with yours.
"Ummm ....well I didn't really want to ask but .... Why did you and woozi break up. All the guys miss you." He said looking you straight in the eyes as he turned to face you.
"Well I didnt wanna break up but it just sorta happened. We started getting into fights because of his work and i dont know .......it just sort of happened. I wish we couldve at least stayed friends." you said looking down at your feet, tears forming in your eyes.
"Why dont i try to talk to woozi about it. All of the guys dont like his new girlfriend anyways. She's to prissy." Joshua said smiling down at you
"Thanks " you said as you turned to hug him. Suprisingly he hugged back.
What you didnt know is that woozi had just walked out of the mall and fell upon the scene of you and joshua and he got the wrong idea.
Later at seventeen dorm
(Joshua had gotten home before woozi)
Woozi marched in angered slamming his bag on the kitchen counter.
"Yah! stop being so loud!" mingyu whined but woozi ignored it and march into joshuas room swinging the door open making a huge noise.
Joshua quickly looked up wide eyed from his spot on the bed with his phone.
"Yah! What were you doing with y/n today!" woozi yelled as he grabbed joshuas collar.
"Why do you care you have a girlfriend now." joshua answered back calmy.
"I dont care about that right now all i want to know is why you were hugging y/n today!" woozi said looking joshua straight in the eyes with a firey passion in them.
Joshua paused for a momsnt and just looked at woozi in disapointment and anger.
"Its none of your bussinness, she thinks you hate her anyways and maybe i like y/n! Your the jerk who left her just to be popular! " joshua yelled angrily as he threw woozi off of him.
"Im going to y/n." joshua said grabbing his phone and coat marching out.
