Once I had changed, I headed out to where my friends were waiting on the beach with my board. My friends, Kate, Jordan, and Drew were all sitting in the sand waiting for me.
"Hey guys!" I called.
"Laur!" Jordan said jumping up and coming over to give me a bear hug effectively knocking my board out of my hands, "Aloha sista!"
"Aloha, Jordan" I said laughing at him.
Drew came over and hugged me as well. "Morning Laur, ready to get crushed?"
"In your dreams, Drew." I said smirking at him.
Kate wrapped an arm around my shoulder and dragged me over to wear they were sitting. I turned around and Drew was already carrying my board over. I took it from his hands and raced towards the water.
"Last one in the water is a rotten egg!!!" I yelled behind me.
There were expletives and yells of, "Not Fair Lauren!!!!"
As I started to paddle out, I felt the cool breeze as I waiting for a nice wave. A little while later, I saw it, a big beautiful wave.
"Here's a good one!!!!!" Jordan yelled.
We road the wave to shore and it felt incredible. 5 waves and 3 wipeouts later, I went to shore to get a drink of water. I was feeling very dehydrated from the salt in the ocean water. As I rested on the beach, there was a painful wack to the back of my head. Then everything went black.

Danny's point of view
After Lauren left, Steve came downstairs and we had breakfast and relaxed. As we ate, I couldn't help but think about how grown up she is now. Steve looked at me questioningly.
"Ok, what's on your mind?"
"It's nothing... It's stupid...."
"Ok, now you have to tell me. If it's nothing that means it's something. What's up?"
"It's just, our baby... You see how big she's gotten."
"Oh Danny, is that what's bothering you?"
"She's not our little girl anymore, I can't help but think that soon she will be off to college and it will just be the two of us again."
"Danny, she will always be our baby."
"But-"
"No matter how old she gets she will always be our youngest daughter. Therefore, she is and always will be our baby."
"How come all of a sudden your the sensible one?" Danny said resting his head in his husband's shoulder. Just then, Danny's phone rang in his pocket. He picked it up.
"Williams?"
"Mr. McGarrett-Williams? Hi, I'm Jordan, I'm friends with your daughter. We were surfing this morning and she went to shore for a drink of water, but when we came in, we couldn't find her anywhere and I'm really sorry but sir? Th-There's blood."
Danny felt his heart drop and he wanted to start to panic but he knew that that would not do the boy on the phone any good as he sounded scared stiff. "Ok hey Jordan, Jordan calm down, did you call the police? okay, good. We're going to be there in a couple of minutes. Okay? Thank you. Goodbye." Danny put the phone down and stared ahead in shock. "Danny, what was that about? Who is Jordan?"
"Steve."
"What? Danny? What's going on?
"Someone kidnapped, Lauren."
"What do you mean?"
"Jordan is one of the friends Lauren went surfing with this morning. They said she came in before them and now they can't find her anywhere." Danny choked out before breaking into full out sobs. Steve stared blankly ahead. He pulled Danny into his arms and held him as the smaller man cried. As the information hit him, Steve let a single tear fall down his face before he became determined that he would find his daughter, no matter what.
