The Ransom

Danny and Steve sat in their kitchen while the team cloned their home phone. Steve watched Danny closely, his partner was struggling with this, hell so was he, but he knew that Danny was now more angry and determined then upset. Steve wrapped his arm around his husband. Danny dropped his head onto Steve's shoulder. The taller man pressed a soft kiss to his hair.
"We're going to find her." He whispered.
"How are you so positive in this position?" Danny said, "I feel as if I can barely breath."
Steve let out a breath, "If I lose hope then she's as good as d-dead and I won't be able to hold it together if that's my thought process."
They rested there for several minutes trying to keep eachother together because both men knew they could not fall apart until their daughter was found. Then while they sat there, the phone rang.
"It's show time." Chin said and handed the phone to Steve.
"Hello?"
"Mr.McGarrett-Williams, I believe I have something of yours."
"Who are you and What the hell have you done with our daughter?"
"Well, Commander, I must say she looks just like you. Pretty as a picture and as feisty as they come."
"You Son of a Bitch!!! Who the hell are you?!"
"You ruined my life! Took me from my family! Turned them against me!! You put me in a cage to rot! You brought this on yourself."
Steve looked at Danny, "Look, I'm sorry. We'll do anything, what do you want?"
"I want 2 million dollars and something to get me off the island."
"I think we can handle that, if you give us proof that she is alive and promise that you'll return her to us."
"Say hello to daddy sweetheart..." He said.

Lauren's POV
As the man talked to my dad, I started to try to plan how I was going to get out of this. Look for the exits, there has to be something he messed up, I thought. There was a window in the back of the house that was left open. He tugged on my hair and said softly in my ear, "Say hello to daddy sweetheart." He pressed the phone into my hand.
"D-Daddy?" I said.
He let out a relieved sigh, "Hey sweetie...C-Can you tell me where you are?"
"No, Daddy, I'm okay. I know you'll find me. Tell Danno not to worry."
The man pulled the phone away.
"That's your proof of life. Now get my money and my plane you have 5 hours." Then he hung up. I looked at him and he smiled wickedly. Then he pulled me back down the stairs and threw me onto the cold cement floor.
He walked back up the stairs and slammed the door. I had no idea how to get out of here. I didn't even know where here was. I curled up in a ball on the cold floor and started to cry. I missed my family.
