Chapter 8

Xander's P.O.V

I must say, i have never been this happy in my life. I feel like i really told Lena or more like, fully showed my true self.

I woke up and went to school, excited to see my girl.

Just as i was going to get into the class, i was dragged from behind.

I turned around. It was Isaac. What does he want? I thought we had settled this.

I sighed, "What do you want? I thought Lena has settled this?"

"That's between me and her. Not you."

Woah. He looked like he was about to explode. Im not really scared though, i already have Lena. My life is complete.

"Im telling you. Dont even think about making Lena your girl. Or else-"

Lena's P.O.V

I woke up, brighter that i'll ever be. Xander is my first love. Hopefully my last.

I went to school and saw Jeena. Thank god she looks okay. I went to say hi.

"Lena, go to our class now. I saw Isaac dragging Xander."

Oh no. What now? I've made it clear for him to stay away. Wait. That was only from me, not Xander. Im so stupid.

"What do you want? I thought Lena has settled this?"

Hmm...sounds like Xander. I hid behind the wall.

"That's between me and her. Not you."

I knew it. 'I' always took every word literally.

"Im telling you. Dont even think about making Lena your girl. Or else-"

I stood out, "Stop this! Why are you threatening Xander?"

"Lena! This is between us! You're not even officially with him anyways!"

I sighed, i went next to Xander and this time, he held my hand.

I looked at my ex-crush and said, "Who told you we're not?"

Isaac was plainly confused. He looked at me and our interwined hands.

"What? 'We're'? He asked you?"

I nodded. There's no point of hiding the truth form him.

He took awhile, i think to digest. I dont get it...i thought he likes Sasha? This is really bothering me.

"Well, i can only comgratulate you."

He glared at Xan and left, brushing his shoulder past Xander's hard.

"Oh my. Are you okay, Xan?"

"Yeah. Im fine. Hey, you make me sound weak."

I laughed, "Im sorry."

We went to class. I wonder where Sasha went. I hope she is having a good time with Isaac.

After school, i was packing my bag. I accidentally hit my bottle that fell down. Great.

I bent down to get my bottle. Just as i was going to get it, someone was faster and already got it.

I smiled, "Thanks, Xander. Let's go home now?"

He rubbed his neck and mumbled, "Well, i was thinking that we can go on our first date..."

I hate my cheeks now. I cannot handle couple-y things like this.

"Well...okay. I'll just tell my parents."

Just in case you're wondering...both of our parents are cool with us dating. I cant believe it. This all is like a fairytale to me. I am loving my life now.

We went out of school and i still have no idea where we're going. He's just leading me to wherever.

He dragged me by the hand to the MRT station. He bought tickets and we were now in one to somewhere.

"Where are we going, anyways?"

"A surprise! "

It stopped at a station and more people squeezed in. He was forced in and we were literally, touching. I looked down, blushing like mad.

We were so close that my head was resting on his chest. I never knew how muscular he was.

I could hear his heart beating so fast. I mean, i dont blame him...mine's too. I looked at him and he was just looking at me. I felt awkward.

He leaned in and whispered, "Do you hear how fast my heart is beating? Its beating like this because of you."

I looked down, mumbling, "Stop...its too cheesy for me to handle..."

He leaned in closer, "What?"

Thank god he didnt hear me.

"A-ah...nothing."

"Hm...fine. For now. I'll still ask you. Later."

"Okay."

As long as it's not now. I dont care. It's too embarrasing to cope with. I cant even think of what he said. I cant.

"Oh and Lena?"

What now? I looked at him.

"What?"

"Ilikeyou."

"What?"

He laughed, "Nothing."

"Oh...fine. Lets's play like that. Anyways, i'll ask you later too~"

The whole ride felt like a thousand years.
