A four letter word that holds so much meaning...
depending on the situation,
Sometimes hope is a good thing... gives you some positivity in life, something to look forward to...
Something to hold onto...
Hope gives you the positivity that makes you think, that things will improve for the better...
But on the other hand,
Hope is like an extra rope that we give ourselves... only to be hung by that very rope at the end,
Not every time you hope for something and it happens,
Sometimes when you expect things to change or improve... it never does...
That tiny ray of hope is crushed brutally into fragments of nothingness...
Every single time the pain of getting your hopes crushed is worse than before and the glimmer of hope each instant is growing dimmer and dimmer until one fine day when it completely disappears...
Leaving you drained of all your energy and positivity you ever had to hope again...
