Terrible Loss

Alister's P.O.V

I got out of the car and quietly shut the door quietly. I stood downhill from the cave. The bones of my sister were most likely still there. I shuddered at the thought. I had to get to Kat. Not look back on memories.

With a hopeful heart, I walked up the hill.

Kat's P.O.V

I let out a happy yip as Alister walked in. His face brightened when he saw me then his mouth dropped open when he saw my stomach. Fear and happiness filled his features, then he flew forward in a flash.

Alister's P.O.V

I saw her stomach. She was pregnant. They were most likely going to kill the baby. I had to be fast. I flew forward, and grabbed Al's wrist that held her hair and squeesed it as hard as possible. Bones cracked and he let go. Not before pushing her forward. I caught her and steadied her. Then I shoved him backwards.

Kat's P.O.V

I crawled to the far side of the cave and crouched down in the corner. There was nothing I could do but stay in a safe area. The baby. I had to keep it safe.

In the corner of my eye I saw something crawl into the cave.

It was a little fluffy puppy. It had the partern of a German Shepard, except its tail curled over its back. It had white paws and a white strip on its chest. The little guy had stunning brown eyes. his fur was perfectly blended. There was only one breed he could be: an Akita. (the one that looks simular to the German Shepard's fur pattern. Mite not find exact picture on google but should look up.)

I held my hand out and reached for the little fur ball. It was a boy. He GI-Joe crawled over to me. I cradled him against my chest. He whimpered. I shhed him and pet him. He licked my hand. I looked up to see the fight still raging.

Alister had put Al on the ground and was fighting the other guys. I wished I could help. The best I could do was stay in my safe little corner with the puppy. He barked and growled. I admired his bravery. A ninja approached us. The little guy jumped in front of me and growled low in his chest. The ninja laughed. The pup took that as an opening and bit the shit out of his ankle. He screamed and kicked the puppy off. I caught the still growling pup. The guy was just about to lunge when he was ripped away.

Alister pounded him then went off to fight another guy. Ninja after ninja showed up and he took them down with determination in his eyes. That's one of the things I admired about him. He doesn't give up or quit. He tries his damndess to win. And he's always there. My mind fell back to my daydreams from earlier. My dream was a couple of fights away. Only a couple of more ninjas and the dream would begin. Just a few more punches...

Alister's P.O.V

I punched and kicked. I put every bit of power my body held. I didn't kill though. Just knocked them out. I could do that later. Right now I had to get Kat out of here. She was the main priority. If I killed, good. If not, fine. I'll exterminate later. Kat and they baby were all that mattered.

I glanced out the corner of my eye to see a fluffy little puppy crawl in. It had the design of a German Shepard, except its tail curled over its hip area and it had white paws and a strip of white on its chest. Kat picked the puppy up and cradled it against her. I smiled she would be a great mom one day. That one day was coming. All I had to do was knock these ninjas out and we'd be free. Only a few more.

I saw a ninja approach her. Quickly I finished off the one I was currently sparing with and moved to get the one about to attack her. Luckily the little puppy was guarding her. I snuck up behind the man as the pup was thrown off for biting. I ripped him away.
