Just started high school and I met a Ninja

There is absolutely nothing funnier than a grown boy asking "you wanna be friends" . But that's what Alister asked me.

"You wanna be friends?" He asked.

"I thought we already were." I said grabbing his hand and leaning agaist him. "You're like the big; and I mean big, protective brother I've never had." He looked down on me and smiled; pulling me towards him.

We walked in silence back to our houses; until finally couldn't  stand it any more. "Do you want to hang out at my place? Or your's?"

"Um........how about mine cuz it'll be easier for to climb on the roof there. Your roof would be easy for me but you would have trouble." He stated pointing at my house.  I glared but agreed. We went in his house and made an "i-line" (dane cook-lieing) to his kitchen to get grub.

"Where's your parents?" I said looking around.

"Er..business trip."

"What do they do?"

"Why do you have to ask so many questions?" He grouched.

He was hiding something; but I didn't want to upset him, so I left it at that.  "Sorry."

"No don't be. I'm sorry I snapped at you like that. Okay we have nothing; except.....cookie dough. You want to make some cookies? Or do you need to go check in with your parents?"

My face hardened and he back away. I peered out side. I knew it. She wasn't home. "No she doesn't care."

"Who doesn't care?"

I looked at him. I could put on a brave face; but the truth is my life is broken. "Don't worry abot my problems I'm fine; its all fine."

"I care Kat. But when you're ready I'll be listening. Okay?" His face was in mine. I felt like I couldn't help but tell him. "Okay? Are you going to be okay? By the way yo can stay over as long as you like. Anyways its Friday."

"Okay. Um Alister?"

"Yeah?" He said pulling out the cookie dough.

"Thank you so much. You're such a good person." He hung his head and checked the date on the container.

"Shit!" He said. "Oh sorry. Um.....the cookie dough is bad so we will  have to make it from scrach. But I don't hav chocolate chips or eggs."

" Don't worry I have some." I said walking to the door.

"Hey Kat pt some clothes yo don't mind getting dirty in." He called after me.

"Why?"

"Just trust me."

I Shrugged and headed home.  I put on some purple, workout pants and a black tank. I grabbed the ingredients that were needed and walked back over to his house. I set the stuff down so I could shut the door. I didn't see it coming. I was attacked.

"Hey!" I shouted as flour went all over my shirt. I looked up to see Alister laughing his ass off. "Oh you think that's funny? Come here I think you need a hug."

"No Kat." He trned around to run bt had spilled flour on the ground and sliped. I started laughing bt stopped when he pulled me down beside him and dumped a fist full of flour on me. "Ha!"

"Ooooohhhh. No. You. Didn't." I said.

"Shit! Holy shit she's gonna kill me!" He got p nearly falling and flew out the front door. I got up and dusted myself off. Then made my way outside.

"Alister I'm gonna kill you........Alister??" I didn't see it coming until it was too late. I was spayed with the water hose. "OOoooooohhh. No now you've asked for it." I charged at him and tackled him. We ended up fighting for the water hose and I got a few good sprays on him.
