Elise's POV:
Tom and I walk by the side of the lake. Silence was the only sound around us. Something was wrong. I could sense it.
I glance up at Tom and see his eyes were dark, empty. "Are you okay?" I ask quietly. He doesn't answer. He just stares forward. His eyes fixated on something in the distance. Okay, hold up. What is going on here?
What is he hiding?
I close my eyes for a second, focusing my energy on entering his mind. The barriers weren't difficult. He must be focusing on something else completely. I push through the last barrier.
Sudden images of him screaming crucio echo in my brain.
I see him in the girls bathroom. Opening the Chamber Of Secrets, I knew all about the chamber. Especially what lies within it.
I'm suddenly walking down the hallway with him. He wasn't with me though. He was with Malfoy.
"Is it ready?" He asks lowly. Malfoy faintly nods. "Good, by next year Elise's power will be mine. She will be under my control. The most powerful witch by my side and the best part...she's already in love with me"
"Elise?" Tom speaks softly. I quickly let go of his memory. I felt my heart shatter. That bastard. I smile sweetly up at him. Two can be manipulative.
"I'm perfectly fine Tom, but I must be seeing Dumbledore for my lesson. I'll see you later" I tell him politely. My feet carry me to Dumbledore's office.
"Good morning Elise. Ready for your lesson?" He asks me kindly. I nod, my mouth was sealed closed as my brain processes what had just happened.
Next year? What was going to happen? But I know what I shall do. I will end his plains. Foil them.
Even if it means breaking my heart in the mean time.
I'm going to solve and destroy Tom Riddle.
