Chapter #3 Our First Gig

Alex and the rest of the band were crammed into Ashton's van on there way to their first official show.

"This is gonna be so awesome!" Luke cheered from the front of the van.

Alex giggled at him. She had only been with them for a month but they felt like her family.

Michael leaned his head on her shoulder.

"Can I help you, mikey?"

"No. Just sit still"

Lately, Michael had gotten a little more touchy. But she just figured he was excited about the band or something.

"Were here!" Ashton's thick accent broke the short quietness.

The band scrambled out of the van and started unloading their instruments.

Once it was all set up, Alex tuned the guitars.

"She's pretty cute..." Luke muttered to Michael while he was adjusting his microphone.

"mhm."

"You okay, mike? You seem kinda off lately.."

" 'm fine. just stay from alex, got it?" Before Luke could answer, Michael was walking away  to grab his guitar. Luke shrugged and strummed at his.

45 minutes later, people started showing up. There was at least 50 people. They all got nervous but calmed each other down.

After they finished English Love Affair, Ashton came to the front so they could all bow together. Everyone cheered. They all beamed and hugged each other.

As the crowd started emptying out, a girl came to front of the stage. She looked around Alex's age, maybe a little older. She had shoulder length, wavy black hair with green tips. It surprisingly complemented her deep brown eyes. She was wearing a black crop top tank top and hard washed blue high waisted shorts.

"Hi!" She spoke in sort of high tone.

"Hi." Alex responded and waved.

"My name is Arden and I just wanted to say you guys were amazing! And Calum, your voice is gorgeous.."

"Uh..thanks" Calum stared at her.

Arden's arm was suddenly grabbed by another girl that looked about the same age. She had the same length hair but it was a pretty ombré. She had light brown eyes. She was wearing a Twenty Øne Piløts shirt with a grey flannel and blue skinny jeans.

Calum stared at the new girl. She was....really pretty.

"Uh.. Hey.. What's your name?" He asked her quietly.

"Savannah. Arden, let's go. You aren't sleeping with another guy in a band."

Alex tried to contain her laughter.

Arden was dragged away and the whole band burst out laughing.

"Cal you were gonna get some!" Ashton teased.

"No way! She's too slutty. The other girl though..."

Everyone laughed again and continued packing up.
