It was midnight. The wind was blowing so hard it keep on shutting my window then opening it again. I was too tired to get up though and close it. I still had to write a report to Captain Erwin. I could tell Levi why I needed to get that info but wouldn't that be betraying him. I mean I need these answers but how. After all Erwin is the Commanders private underling who is next in line for Commanding. I want to tell Levi so badly though and get it over with. Fine! I will confront Levi face to face with him tomorrow and ask! It was settled...
I took out a large yawn then curled up in my bed to sleep.

"Alright! Today we will be doing cleaning. Rico and Hanji work in the Mess hall. Levi and [Y/N] work in the courtyard! And..." Chanted Squad Leader Erwin. Yes! I thought. Now I can finally talk to him. Plus the courtyard was pretty much isolated from the rest of headquarters.
"Are you coming or not?" Levi mumbled.
"Uh yes!" I said rushing out the door as we walked to the courtyard with gardening supplies. Levi looked around the filthy courtyard. Everything was old and over grown with weeds.
"Tch disgusting.." He groaned as he grabbed his gloves and put them on.
I crouched down and started to pull out the weeds.
"What the hell!? Your not doing the right technique!" Levi said sternly grabbing a hold of my wrist.
"You have to take them down from the bottom of the stem or it will regrow." He said as he let go of my wrist. He glared back at me again. Whatshis problem!? Technique.?
I pulled out a few more with the right technique this time and one flew right into the sky. Oh crap almost forgot I have to ask him.
"Uh Levi.?" I murmured.
"Ya what is it." He said in a monotone voice.
"You know that special orders I had the other day.."
"Mhm what about that.." He grabbed some more weeds and pulled them out.
"The orders were to get answers out of you..." I said super quietly hoping he didn't hear. But for one thing he sure heard me. Levi raised an eyebrow.

"Answers out of me. What does that idiot Erwin want!" He said and pulled out another weed. He was defiantly angry.

"It's just for the expedition.. I don't know why myself.... I-I don't know. I just know something happened on the expedition happened and you didn't tell them." I bit my lip.

"I didn't choose to join the Survey Corps. He forced me to. In exchange he wouldn't press charges on me for my crimes. I was also told to kill him on exchange for citizenship on the upper land by a mysterious man. But the guy was a fake and was hired by Erwin to con me and my friends. Now there gone...cause of him." He dropped the weeds and the tools in his hands. He looked down at the ground. He looked super intense and sad. He shook his head before looking back at me. His steel blue eyes looking into mine. What's going on... I was just as shocked as him so I stood their too in the garden just the two
Of us.
"Levi.. You didn't have to tell me that."
I mumbled.

"Who said I choose to say it. I had to tell you didn't I?"

"Don't you regret saying that. Now the Captain will-"

"The only thing I can do...
Is to believe that I won't regret the choice I made." Levi said.

We both were silent after that and started to clean up the garden until it was flawless.
