Deeper and deeper, they led me to a place unknown. With each minute that passed, I grew more and more skeptical about where the wolves were taking me. I had never gone this deep into the forest before, and starting to believe that I was going insane from trusting the wolves in the first place. I kept glancing back towards Parkinson's, wondering if I should go back. Back to where I was safe, where all my books where, and where the kind, caring Ms. Clerk was. Instead, I continued to follow the foreign creatures.
The wolves seemed so calm, and peaceful, and very quiet. They walked slowly, I guess to make sure they didn't lose me or something. Well, knowing me, I got bored after about, five minutes or so? I started to skip, hum and sing softly. I wasn't a good singer by any means, but it was fun and music was definitely the next best thing to books. "Where those of wit and learning will always find their kind," I sung the Ravenclaw part of the Sorting Hat's song. Ravenclaw was my favorite Harry Potter house. I loved the creativity, outgoingness, cleverness and wittiness. If you you added sarcasm and weirdness to that mixture, you'd get me. For about ten more minutes, I continued to sing and lolligag, but I became really impatient.
Feeling bold, I addressed the wolves for the first time that day. "Umm?" I said in a barely audible whisper. They seemed to hear me because both of their ears twitched, but continued to walk. "Hey, umm, are you taking me somewhere or something?" The wolves didn't acknowledge me at all, so I sighed and proceeded to tail them. "What should I call you?" I wonder out loud. Then I remembered my last trip in the forest when the gray wolf morphed into a girl. "Call me Alyssa," her voice echoed. I stared at the gray wolf. "Alyssa?" I called out softly.
My targeted wolf stopped walking, and turn to face me. Its stormy gray eyes pierced my metallic green ones. Not in an evil, angry way though, but in a kind of "What did you just say?" way. The grey one stopped walking too, and turned to face the black and then looked at me like it was expecting a cat fight. "Your name is Alyssa, right?" I croaked. One and a half seconds later, a girl with thick, long, black hair, pale skin, and stormy gray eyes appeared right in front of me. One and a half seconds was all it took to change from a dog as tall as a 14 year old girl, into a 14 year old girl. "Yes, we are taking you somewhere-" She said irritably, "-Yes, my name is Alyssa, and no, no we are not going to eat you." Her exasperated voice bothered me a lot, and I would've backhanded her if she didn't have the ability to turn into a giant dog. "You're not?" I asked more- er- normally, if you will. "Ew, no. We're werewolves for Aradian's sake, that's disgusting." She said, "And besides, we need your help."
Then she turned back into a wolf, and motioning for me and the other wolf to follow.
