The next morning, the sun shone brightly through the window in our bedroom. I wondered if Sensei was back yet. Getting up, I tiptoed across the room and shook a sleeping Nicole awake.

"Nicole," I whispered, "Get up."

"Whaaat?" She grumbled lazily, rolling over.

"Do you think Sensei's back yet?"

"No, she is not," Zinnia said from no where, making me jump.

"How do you know?" Nicole asked tiredly, sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

"I do not exactly know," Zinnia mused, "I just.... feel it somehow."

"O-kay," I responded. "Shall we make sure?"

"Why not?" Nicole yawned.

Zinnia opened her mouth to speak, but shut it again. Weird.

So, we got up and crept out the door, exploring the Monestary. We couldn't hear anything coming from Sensei's room, and she would probably be up by now.

"Yeah, she's not here," Nicole remarked.

"Want some breakfast?" I offered, "It's my day."

After breakfast, we decided that we would go search around Ninjago City, to see if anyone needed help or anything. Slipping on our black ninja gis, we went out into the morning, on the lookout for trouble.

I grunted, swinging my leg up onto the next ledge. I couldn't believe that it had taken two days to get here, and now, we were climbing a mountain!

Ugh, I slid down the rock a few inches, losing my grip and scraping my hand. I dangled off of the edge by one hand. Darn it! I watched in awe as Sensei Sue flipped past me and up the mountain. That is one athletic old lady.

I moaned, finally reaching the top. Sensei sat on a rock, sipping tea. What the heck?

"How long is this training gonna be?" I whined. Sensei looked at me.

She got up on a taller rock, running her hand through her hair. "Patience," she stated.

I sighed, and then climbed the remaining few feet to the top, looking at the Monestary before me. It had huge red doors with large golden knockers. "Wow," I gaped.

Sensei smiled and opened the doors that led inside. "You will be ready when you are ready," she explained, "And not a minute sooner."

The doors revealed a large courtyard with a cobblestone ground and bronze dragon statues that lined the edge. There were various doors leading into the building. "A Monestary!?" I sputtered, "You expect me to learn to fight in a place of peace?"

"Not fight," Sensei remarked, turning towards me, "Train."

I blew a lock of brown hair out of my face.

"To become a true ninja," she went on, "First you must be able to see what others do not."

"But there isn't anything here!" I exclaimed.

Sensei huffed, knocking open a dragon statue with her staff, revealing a bright red button. I cocked my head. What did that do? She pressed the button, and a cranking sound occured. The large golden statue rose up into the air, revealing a training platform. Several more popped up around it, each having a different technique to it.

"Woah," I said, shaking my head and leaping down from the steps, "Is this gonna teach me how to do that cool move?"

I jumped up on a pillar thing excitedly, doing a sort of ninja pose. I smiled, not really noticing that the pillar was slowly cranking downward. I frowned, looking down at it as I had realized that it had sunk so low to the ground.
