I opened my eyes, grimacing when I found myself staring at that damned blue ceiling. I hadn't imagined it. It wasn't a dream. I had actually been taken. I had actually been locked in this room. I had actually been kidnapped and held against my will. I didn't know where I was. I didn't know who had me. I didn't know if Caleb was okay. I didn't know why I had been taken.

All I knew was that I would probably die in this room, surrounded my a child's toys.

I sat up on the bed, frowning. The mess I had made was gone. All the books were on their shelves -- alphabetized. The movies were put a way -- alphabetized. The clothes were back in the closet -- organized by color and sleeve length. The jeans were folded and back on the shelves.

I breathed in, my nose immediately filling with the smell of bacon. I wrinkled my nose, disgusted with the smell. I was a vegetarian. Even the smell of meat made me sick. I held the back of my hand to my nose. I sat up on my knees, my eyes searching for the smell that offended my nose so greatly. There was a plate by the door. Bacon, eggs, and hash-browns. Breakfast.

It was morning.

I had gone to Caleb's in the afternoon.

I had been missing for at least a day.
