"Bradly," you whispered, hoping he could hear you. Your lips were close to his ear and you were still in his tight embrace, but he was slowly letting go. In the next two seconds you were looking in his eyes. All you saw was adoration. Maybe because you had just spoke to him for the first time in the thirteen years you have known each other. "I love you," was all that you could say. It had nothing to do with how you were feeling at the moment, but it was perfect for your first sentence.
"I love you too," he said while giving you many kisses on the face. He was holding your face with his hands and squeezing it. "I love you so much." He was still kissing all over your face. "Now tell me whats wrong."
"William he's my dad and he came home and he was in the kitchen and my mom was telling him about everything and how I didn't talk, but she doesn't know hes the reason why."
"What did your dad do?"
"I-I can't tell you. It's a secret." Bradly let go of your face. He looked into your eyes and he nodded his head. He understood that you weren't ready to tell. It was all, so much to take in. You finally talking to him. A single rolled down your cheek and Bradly wiped it away.
"Lets go to bed." You shook your head and Bradly ended up carrying you back to the bed. He sat you down on one side and got in next to you. Bradly wrapped one arm around you and cuddled next you. Bradly was possibly the only person that could understand me when I wasn't talking and it felt amazing. This was the right guy for me.
As soon as my eyes open they closed again. The light from the window was blinding. I wasn't sure how the blinds got open, but it was annoying. I then searched around on the bed and Bradly wasn't there. I sighed and ripped the covers off my body. Getting off the bed I went to put the blinds back down and finally open my eyes fully.
I slipped of my jeans from yesterday since I feel asleep in them. I picked up a hoodie from off the floor and put it on. It was big enough to reach mid-thigh. Not a bad length.
I walked out the room and into the kitchen where I smelt the food. I let in a big whiff of it and moaned. "Smells good," I said as I got into his view. Bradly smiled up at me and went back to cooking. "Eggs, bacon, pancakes, and grits. Someones trying to get me fat." I rubbed my stomach and sat at the bar. Watching as Bradly worked around the kitchen. Getting the plates out and making us orange juice. As he made the plates and flipped the pancakes.
Bradly handed me a plate full of food and then he sat next to me with his. I gave him a kiss on the cheek and started eating. Moaning every once in a while to tell him how good it was. Everything was perfect. After another ten minutes I was done and most of my plate was cleaned off. I rubbed my stomach and a small burped escaped my mouth. Bradly and I started laughing. "Audrey you are one care free girl."
"That I am."
"I don't know how I'll get used to this talking thing."
"I can stop talking and just give you signs with my facial expressions." Bradly shook his head and I gave him a small kiss on the cheek. I got up and started to clean up all the dishes. He cooks, I clean. That seemed like a fair way to do this.
"I have no classes today, so I'm staying with you today. Just you and me, and many movies that you like."
"Like Grease," I said while cleaning the last dish. I looked back at Bradly and he was shaking his head. I went back to doing the dishes and smiled. This guy knew me, so well. It was impossible to find anyone else like him.
No guy stays with a mute girl for thirteen years. No one dates a mute girl. Everyone is supposed to turn on the mute girl, but Bradly, no. He was always there for me. Even though he had other friends he would make time for me. He stood up for me when they would say stuff about me when he was around and I wasn't. Hes dating me and he's been here for me for thirteen years. Bradly never turned on me and now I'm talking to him.
"I love you Bradly," I said as I finished washing the dishes. "I love you a lot."
"I love you too princess."
