Chapter 28: Fixing Up

Baekhyun's P.O.V

I went out the room during Hyomin fell into asleep. I felt so tired each day to know that my life isn't going to spend with Soona anymore. Everything didn't go well like I think the first time I started loving her. I always thought that we could be together like others but the fate isn't that kind.

I kept walking out the house till I heard the noise from the second floor. I automatically looked to see what's happening. And that moment got my heart stopped. He kissed her. It hurts as hell. I clutched my fist as I looked away. My sin is killing me.

The next day

I couldn't wait for tomorrow to come since last night. That scene keeps replaying in my head. I looked for her the whole morning and she finally came.

I walked to her quickly. "Soona! Can we have a talk? " I asked and she looked confusing. "What?" She asked but I grabbed her hand and pulled her into the empty room.

Soona's P.O.V

Baekhyun suddenly pulled me to the empty room and his eyes are unreadable. I frowned as I looked up to his face. "Baek! What are you doing? What happens? what if Hyomin sees this and she gets this wrong? " I asked.

He sighed as he finally answered. "Did Chanyeol do something crazy to you?" He sounded very worried. I tried to think if he did anything to me but nothing besides that kiss and I shouldn't tell Baekhyun about this. It will only worry him and make him feel bad.

"No. He didn't." I said.

"Soona... I don't trust him." Baekhyun said and I gave him a small smile to calm him down.

"He won't Baekhyun. I know that he won't do those crazy things to me." I convinced and the door suddenly opened showing Hyomin at the door way staring at both of us.

I looked at her surprisingly and she asked loudly. "What were you two doing? Huh? Why are you..." She turned to me and walked toward in the purpose of slapping me. I closed my eyes.

"What do you want to do?" A husky from that person came into my ears. I opened my eyes to see that Chanyeol stood his back to me holding Hyomin's wrist.

"She took my husband into this room. Don't you see?" She yelled angrily and I noticed that Nana is here too, behind Hyomin. I stared at her angrily. She must saw me and Baek at the moment and called Hyomin here. What the...

"Stop it Hyomin. You misunderstood it. Well Soona did I make you wait so long? I bring the wine here." Chanyeol turned his face to me and hold up a bottle of wine. But what is Chanyeol trying to do?

"Yes and what took you so long? Geez! I told you that we should taste it just you and me. See? " I said without knowing what did I just say. Did I just lie and what? Did I just team up with Chanyeol and he's literally helping me right now.

"What do you mean?" Hyomin calmed down and frowned.

It gets silence again and I looked at Baekhyun. He knew it and said. "Yes we are going to taste the new wine." Great that he confirmed.

Hyomin nodded and turned back to Nana. She was silence all the minutes here. "Well,  who knows? I just told her what I see." Good girl,  you're good. I gave her a death glare this time.

"What did you think?" I hissed.

"Sorry." She said but it wasn't sincere.

"Let's get back to the room then. I think you two should start tasting it without me." Baek said and pushed hyomin out the room and Nana followed.

Chanyeol closed the door and sighed as he faced me. "If I didn't come early..."

"Were you thinking like her?" I interrupted.

"No. But now I want you to see one place." He said and grabbed my hand. He opened the door and pulled me with him out of the room.

"But why? Hey?" I asked in confusion. What is he trying to do? My heart started to pound again when he holds my hand to walk. He steps are so big that almost make me run to catch up with him. Those butterflies are singing inside my stomach again. It happens again, now....

"Chanyeol! Please wait for me!" Nana's voice ruined my mood.

He stopped his feet and turned to her. "Where are you going? Can I go with you?" She asked. Chanyeol nodded. "Why not?"

I hate her. Damn is she a baby or what?

The storage

"This is where we put the wine. There are hundred of wine barrels and each barrels are imported from foreign country. Also a barrel can be used only once." Chanyeol said when were exploring the the storage. This is my first time seeing it and the smell of the wine came into my nose completely. This is amazing.

"Oh I don't even know that the process of making wine can be this complicated." I said and Chanyeol smiled.

"Do you know what? The longest period of storing it, the best it will taste." He continued.

"Ouch!" Nana exclaimed as she bumped into a barrel. 

"You should be careful. Because each barrel weights 300kg." I gasped hearing what he just said.

"Really?" She asked. "So does it mean that if it rolls on us, we can die right?"

"Probably yes. So please walk carefully." Chanyeol confirmed and we continued seeing it.
