A/n OH MY FREAKING GOD THIS STORY HAS 8k READS!!!! THATS RIDICULOUS! I love you all so much so don't forget to like, follow and comment!

I walked away from the stall sighing at myself.  I had lost half my money buying food for the next week. My money problems were always worse in the winter but today its the worse it has been in such a long time. Looks like I'm selling my possessions for the third time this month. I looked up from my feet only to see a face I haven't seen in a year. His eyes were the same blue only they looked sunken as if the happiness had been drained out of them and his hair was the same blonde but it had lost its glossy shine. His features were rigid with shock and confusion as tears burned in my eyes. My fingers went numb and the basket slipped from my hand. I turned away holding back a sob as I ran from him.

I sprinted through the crowd pushing past the citizens of Camelot tears freely running down my face. I could hear him calling after me but I pushed on knowing Uther's orders. I ran through the streets running out of the castle my heart pounding a hole through my chest. I stopped for breath searching around for a way to run to when I heard his footsteps run up behind me. I turned to face him, to face Arthur, with tears on my face, breathing heavily only to see his face.

"Couldn't give me a head start?" I panted but his face was unmoving solid statue.

"What are you doing here?" He harshly questioned causing me to wince at his cold tone.

"What am I doing here? I live here!" I replied my breathing slowly returning to a normal place.

"Your meant to be dead!" He shouted abruptly his fists shaking. "He told me you were dead!"

"Who told you?" I question softly already knowing the answer.

"My father." He breathed out. "I don't understand." Tears formed in his eyes as he started to lace.

"I cannot believe he did this." I murmured quietly but he heard me. His head jolting around to face me, angry tears making his eyes glisten.

"What did he do?" His voice shook as he clenched his jaw.

"He warned me to stay away from you. He told me to never talk or see you again. I'm sorry I never said goodbye." My voice broke as several more tears fell down from my eyes.

"HE TOLD ME YOU DIED!" Arthur shouted angrily walking up to the castle wall, punching it with his hand. "HE TOLD ME THAT YOU WERE KILLED ON A RIDE!" He screamed luckily the wall with his built up anger. I took a step back knowing how angry Arthur can get."I'm going to kill him." His voice was emotionless, a monotone, it was such a scary sight to see. Then emotion came flooding back in his face with his next words. "But your here, your okay." His tears fell down as his energy dropped out of him. He stepped towards me extending his arms and I pushed myself into them.

His strong arms wrapped themselves around me pulling me into his strong chest. My arms wrapped around his waist clinging onto his shirt to hold me upright as I sob onto his chest. I could feel his tears running into my hair making me sob harder into his chest. I missed the feeling of his arms around me so much it made it hard to breathe. I missed the safe feeling I always get when I'm in his arms and I missed the way his hands rub my back like they are now. His lips kept brushing across my ear as he whispered sweet nothings into my ear.

Uther told Arthur I was dead. Until now I hadn't realised how true the statement was. Without Arthur I'm nothing and I have no hope to achieve anything set in front of me. But here in his arms I feel extraordinary.

I feel alive.
