Merlin- you do it

A/n sorry this is short and if I'm being honest not entirely good but I had no ideas on what to write. please also bare in mind that I have not been in labour so I have no idea what this experience entails. Thanks x

I screamed in pain, squeezing the mans next to me sweaty hand, as I pushed on the instruction of Gauis. Sweat covered my body and my breathing was uneven. Sweet encouraging words were being whispered into my ear by the love of my life as I continued to scream in immense pain.

"You can do this y/n." Merlin's lips brushed against my ear and on any other occasion shivers would have been sent down my spine but for some reason this angered me immensely.

"Stop trying to seduce me, this is how we got into this situation in the first place!" I cried out squeezing his hand tighter. He chuckled discreetly but I heard it all the same. I swung my arm out to gently whack him around the head before returning my focus on pushing.

"Almost there." Gauis said as the sound of a crying baby came to light. "Just one more push y/n. " I did as I was told despite the severe agony it caused and sure enough I suddenly felt weight less as Gauis lifted a baby into my line of sight. Using a cloth he quickly wiped the baby of all blood before walking over to me handing the little bundle of joy into my arms. "It's a girl." He stated as my heart contracted at the sight of my child.

"Y/d/n." I whispered happy tears in my eyes as I looked to Merlin. He leaned down and pressed his lips to her tiny little head before doing the same to me.

"My beautiful girls." He whispered the pad of his thumb stroking her cheek.

"Merlin," I whispered and he turned to look at me smiling. "Next time, you do it."
