Merlin- child (for merlins_khlaseei)

Our feet tangled together under the covers as my head rose and fall while it was resting in Merlins chest. Whenever we led together, not having the need to talk, the best feeling of peacefulness came over me. It just proved that being in each other's company is enough. We don't need to be touching or talking, but simply being in the same air space is gratifying.

"I love you," Merlin said breaking the comfortable silence randomly. I turned my head, so I was facing him as he continued his words. "I know I don't tell you enough but I do, I really love you." I leant forward pressing my lips against his for a few short moments before pulling away.

"I really love you too." I grinned leaning away from him but he had other ideas. He Pushed himself upwards so he was suspended over me grinning. A dark tint was shimmering in his eye as I smiled at him looking at his pale face through lowered eyelashes. His visibly gulped as I bit my lip, secretly loving his reaction to my doings. Teasingly slowly he lowered his lips until they were millimetres away from mine. As if asking for permission his eyes flickered to mine before looking back at my lips. In response I hungrily pressed my lips harshly against his, not being able to stand the tension any longer. He instantly responded to my movements, matching them in every way. As we kissed, it intensified so fast that my legs wrapped around his waist, pulling his hips to mine. They rubbed together ever so slightly but the contact made Merlin groan inside my mouth. He pulled away from me, smiling and breathing heavily, before strap by strap, removing my top, kissing the skin where it had been.

I woke days later by a great feeling of nausea making my stomach curdle. I ran away from the bed where the contents of my stomach came out of me into the chamber pot. I finished, flushed with embarrassment, wiping my face with a cloth. Feeling light headed I walked over to the empty bed where Merlin was not. A strong wave of dizziness made me clutch the bed so tightly my knuckles went white. Gwen entered the room, knocking first, just as I fell to the floor, the world around me going black.

The sound of hushed voices whispering, and a hand clutching mine tightly was what woke me once again. I stirred, my eyes fluttering open, and found myself in gauis' chambers with Merlin clutching my hand and Arthur pacing the room.

"Y/n oh thank God." Merlin exclaimed pressing his lips against my forehead as I heard Arthur sigh with relief.

"What happened?" I ask my voice raw and croaky just as Gauis entered the room.

"Ah good you are awake," he set down some bottles before walking over to me. "What I have to tell you may come off as a shock because you will need to be careful from now onwards. That means no more intense training sessions with Arthur and no more running throughout the woods you hear?" He sternly said raising his eyebrow. I nodded nervously anxious to know what he has to tell me. "You are pregnant." Merlin gasps in joy as I freeze in shock.

"Are you sure?" I ask needing Gauis to be positive. "One hundred percent positively sure?" I question and Gauis nods raising an eyebrow at me.

"Y/n," Merlin stars and I turn my face to look at him. His features are transformed into one giant smile that light his eyes up leaving me no choice but to smile back. "We are having a child. A little bit of you and a little but of me in a child." He states hysterically grinning his cheekbones off.

"We are having a child." I repeat slowly getting used to the notion. "We are having a child!" I state laughing moving to press my lip against merlins once more.

"Let us not make anymore for the moment!" Arthur coughs and I pull away shaking my head at the man.

We are going to have a child.
