Chapter 15 - The Truth

"Hey guys" I said

"Hi Maye" Piper smiled "Ready for the fight?"

"Nop, I hate swords, but if you ask me that in archery class that would be a 'bring it'" I laughed, Piper too.

Drew was trying to approach Philip (very good looking boy) but I grabbed his arm and put him in front of Piper "maybe you two should be partners I'll go with Will" I said.

Piper smiled and I went with Will

"Are you good with that?" I asked pointing at his sword

"Not really" He said

"Good, because me neither" We laughed

After that I had free time so I went to the beach but I wasn't the only one there "Hey" I said He turned around and smiled

"You did miss me" Leo stated

I rolled my eyes "What you doing?" I asked him

"Thinking" He turned to the sea again

"Of what?" I sat in the sand he joined me

"About the quest" He said

"Are you worried?" I asked him

"Who isn't?" He said

"No I mean...about the prophecy" I said

"oh" he crossed his arms behind his head and lay there thinking "yes, have you heard it?"

"yes" I nodded

"Do you remember the second line?" He asked me

"'To Storm or Fire the world must fall'" I said

"Yes, that's what i'm worried about"

"Don't worry I'm sure it's not what you think...prophecies are always unclear and it may be something else" I patted his shoulder

He smiled "thanks"

"About my arrows..." I said

he turned to see me "Yes?" He asked

"I kinda lied to you"

He gasped jokingly "What?!"

"I'm not daughter of Apollo" I said

"Then?" He asked confused

"Zeus" I turned to the sea

"What?" He said a bit surprised

"Yes, I'm the Daughter of Zeus" I said

"oh, so you weren't flirting with Jason" He let out a sigh if relief

"No, why?" I raised my eyebrow

"Because I know Piper likes him and it would be a tragedy if you both fought for him" He said

"Yeah" I said "Why does it even matter to you?" I raised an eyebrow

"Because they are my friends and I want them to be happy...but sometimes it's not cool you know" He said

"Why?" I asked

"Because Jason and Piper are always together and They leave me alone" He said pouting jokingly

"You don't like third wheeling, huh?" I asked

"No...but what would you know?" He asked smiling slightly

"Well, I've had some experience" I said

"When?" He asked

"When I first got here, Annabeth and Percy...they were inseparable! But i'm happy for them, I just wish he was here..." I said

"You miss him, don't you?"

"Yeah, he's a good guy, you'll like him, I think you'll be great friends" I said and turned to see the sea "Sun set! let's watch"

We lay there in a comftable silence when suddenly Leo put his hand in mine, I turned to face him and smiled.

The sun was perfect in sight just in the middle of the sea as if it was entering the water Then something I didn't expected at all happened, Leo cupped my cheek and kissed me I kissed him back, it was the most perfect first kiss...
