I lived my whole life inside an old water well,
And there's a story I want to tell
All the time that went by,
I thought everything is going fine
'til I looked up in the piece of sky above
Now, queering 'bout the thing I have
Without a second thought, I flew outside my comfort
Starting my voyage to find the worth,
Of living anew life
Wandering through the new found world by night
Cold stares, harsh words, what is this?
Lies, pretensions, insults, all I've never missed
As I face the reality of the cruel land
Why are they like that, I failed to understand
Judging my every step, they eyed me with scrutiny,
Without trying to know me
They speak my name with irreverence,
Just because of our difference
Even though I'm at the edge of insanity,
I tried to save myself so I flee,
Back to the well where I started
From what I go through, higher wall was constructed
Contentment filled me when I was back there,
'coz I knew the pain from outside world lies yonder
