We are celestial bodies

For me, you are the moon
looming in mysterious aura at the vast sky
baffled by your existence, from Earth I looked,
do you know my every unspoken cry?
'you're 238,900 miles away,
that's how unreachable you are,' I said
but i was surprised, i only took one step
and i was magnified by you
how it happened, i have wondered,
have you wondered too?
'you're 72 hours away,
that's how far you are', I complained
but i was confused, it only took one second
and i was falling for you,
why it happened, i had thought,
but still I never knew
you said, I am your star,
yes I am, always staying at the moon's side
we rejoice at the darkness of the night
you enlightened my lost heart.
