We had begun performances and made it through the first show, we had a few hours before the next so we all ate, Josh sat beside Nicole and since no one knew about me and Karen I say across from them. All of the girls seemed to like him because he got a lead role, but I knew it wouldn't last. He and Nicole seemed pretty close, I thought they would go out. I was kind of tired of the power he held in the group, he could change his mind about the girl in the group he liked and they would be ok with it and they would get close while I was left with whichever one he didn't want. Which is one of the reasons I ventured out, but this was different, this time he bit off more than he could chew. As performances went on me and Karen were slowly stopping to talk to each other, and at first it sucked but I got over it. We were almost on our last day of the performances and Josh decided he would try and ask Nicole out, he was turned down. I knew I shouldn't have felt this way because he was my friend but I was glad, both because he lost that power he held and because that meant Nicole had her eyes on someone else... I was glad
