i borded the plane with tear stained cheeks. i walked along the isle until i found my seat, right next to the window. their was no one in the row so i quickly jumped to get in, however my face smashed into a tough, hard chest of another passanger. i quickly pushed away with my hands n the strangers chest, but his arms held me steady and close.
"whoo, are you alright their? in a bit of a rush?" the stranger laughed in a deep chested voice, laughing at my face plant.
"yeah haha i must have lost balance or something, sorry" i apologized, dazed from the interaction.
"well theirs no need to rush, were going to be on here for a very long time" he chuckled, he obviously enjoyed a joke. i looked up at the stranger and noticed he looked around my age, 20. he was quite cute with dark long hair and deep blue eyes like my families. it made me home sick. he had dark skin and stuble on his chin, he was actually gorgeous, which didnt help my inflamed cheeks.
"are you in this row?" he gestured to the row i was moving into.
"yeah, next to the window" i smiled, "you?"
"yepp, i was on my way when you bumped into me" he joked. we heard a woman clear her throat at us to get out of her way and i ducked into the isle quickly followed my the mystery guy.
"im Madeline" i held my hand out, feeling more comfortable and in control.
"Derek" he took my hand squeezing rather than shaking "how long are you going to england for?"
"a year whith school and you?"
"are you with the study abroad program?"
"uh yeah how did you know"
"so am i, but im only staying for 6 months"
we talked for most of the plane trip and got to know each other pretty well. atleast i would have someone i knew in london.
