Hi I'm Ava, I got to Roseberry high school and I live in New York City. I loved my life before high school. I had a great group of friends, and I was actually starting to feel happy again. My best friends are Emma and Madi. They have been there for me forever, and I feel like I could tell them anything. One day at lunch, had to be one of the worst lunches ever, well actually one of the worst days ever. First off I had tons of homework, a report due the next day, also surprise pop quiz in social studies which I was terrible at, I also tripped up the stairs and heather and her snotty friends laughed at me because a they also happened to be there. Then there was lunch, which nothing bad could happen at lunch right? Yeah, no. This was the worst lunch because I happened to be wearing a cute outfit I was really happy about, but then I was drinking some juice and it spilt all over my white cardigan, great and I didn't even have a sweatshirt. It was one of the warm days in New York. My friends helped me get some napkins to clean up a bit, but it didn't work to well, I also didn't help that the juice was purple, yeah that didn't go as planed. Then to top it all off with a cherry on top, Emma said that she had to move away... in a week. Me and Madi start laughing.

"Ok,you have to be joking." We both said as we where laughing
She sat there and didn't look happy, and had a serious look on her face. That must mean that she wasn't lying.
"Guys, I'm serious." She said with a disappointed look
Me and Madi stopped laughing and looked at her confused.
"Wait so, your.... moving?" I said
She looked at us and nodded her head. The rest of lunch was silent, no laughing we just sat there. I think we all wanted to cry but couldn't because of the crowds of people. We sat there, the quietist table out of the whole lunch room. I remember this like it was yesterday. And now I was looking out my window watching as boxes and things where being moved out.

I hadn't seen Emma yet today, Madi lived a little bit down the street. We were texting each other, we didn't no if we should go by Emma and talk to them or just sit and watch. My mom and had sent them a card, that said pretty much said good luck and hope you have a great time in Chicago. Emma finally appeared from her house with big boxes of her stuff. I texted Madi that I saw her.
Me: I think I'm going to go out there and going to talk to her.
Madi: I would to but I don't want it to look like we are texting, I will wait like 5 min.
Me: K
It was Saturday, thankfully. Usually on Saturdays, we stayed at one of each others houses and had a sleepover. This Saturday was definitely different. My mom was sitting on the couch watching some tv with her cup of coffee. It was about 9:00 in the morning.
"I'm going out to say by to Emma one last time, if that's ok?"
"Yeah that's fine, try not to cry to hard!"
"Ok thanks mom, be back soon."
"By"

I walked out side in my sweat pants and my slippers on, I also threw on a sweat shirt sense it was kind of cold. I walked across the street and watched as boxes where getting piled up in the truck. I walked by Emma.
"Need any help?"
"Yeah I guess, there is only one or two more box's in my room."
"Ok."
I walked up her spiral stair case and up into her room. Her small dog Muddy, followed us and went into her room. I grabbed a small box and she grabbed a smaller one and we walked down the stair case.
"Are you going to miss this place?" I asked awkwardly
"Yeah, but my mom said that the new house has a pool." She said
"Nice." I said
she nodded her head
We got to the truck and put the boxes in the truck. I saw Madi walking, she looked the same way I did. She was on her phone probably texting someone. Me and Emma waited for her, it took her a minute to get over here.
"Hi guys." She said
"Hi." we both replied.
We stood up here awkwardly, all about to cry but we sucked it up and tried not to.
"Emma, honey, we have to go." Said Emma's mom
"You heard her, I got to go, by." She said in a sad tone
"Hey we should skype tonight when you get there, if you can" I suggested
"Yeah, I guess" she said
"I could face time you as well." Madi said
"Yeah that's fine." She said
"By"
"By" we both said
Me and Madi watched as the moving truck and her family's car drove away. Me and Madi where crying a little, we had tears rolling down are face, but whipped them away fast and waved goodbye.
"Well I got to go home and deal with my brother." Madi said
"Yeah, I got to go home and do some chores." I said as my excuse
We both walked back to are homes and I noticed that Madi had been walking home faster than when she was walking to Emma's old home. I opened the front door because it was unlocked from before when I had left.
"Was it hard?" Said my mother
"Yeah, it's going to be a lot different without her." I replied
"Yeah, you and Madi will make other friends though."
"Do you no when jake is coming home?" I asked
"What? Why do you want to no when jake would be coming home, I thought you guys where ignoring each other?"
"Im just wondering"
"Well...(pause) who knows what's going to happen with your brother, he is college now and he is with his friends."
"Oh" and I walked up to my room as my dog Shelby followed me.
Shelby was a golden retriever mixed with a little bit of lab. She was smaller than most golden's though. I loved animals, but my favorite where dogs.
I decided to watch some Netflix on my iPad, and soon the day became night. We ate dinner and I watched some tv before I went to bed. Yeah we never face timed or skyped like Emma,me, and Madi had agreed. I guess we where all sad.
