Run Away

Chapter 5

Ava's POV

I woke up, it was sunny out. I opened up my window and let the cool air of the morning seep through the window,but it wasn't hot out yet. It was the spring time. I looked at the weather, the high for today was 65 degrees, which was pretty good for New York. I threw on some light colored jeans and rolled them up, I got a plain t shirt that had a pocket and was a maroon like or redish. It was flowy, I also put on my necklace that my dad gave me before he left, it was a gold and when you opened it, it had a picture of us when we where little.... I usually didn't open it because it made me tear up a little. I put my hair in a braid and touched up my mascara. I went down stairs and ate some breakfast which was just a quick donut. I brushed my teeth and ran down stairs and threw on a black Columbia sweat shirt for a jacket. I was going to be late for the bus if I didn't hurry. I walked out the door and yelled BY MOM! I ran out side with half a white converse on and the other the same. I looked at my iPhone 6s rose gold. It was my favorite, it was 6:30, fewwww. My bus usually comes at 6:40.... 10 min early. I tied my converse on my drive way and finally got my back pack how I wanted it. I had to walk to the end of my road to get to the bus stop. I saw a man running from behind, I looked back and it was Jace..... crap he rides my bus, why does he have to make this so difficult...he was so cute. I looked at the end of the street and Madi was waiting their already, I smiled at her. I began to speed up to see if he would catch up. He did.
"Hey, Ava." He said rushing ahead of me, he looked to be texting someone. I looked at my phone and realized......it wasn't me.....he didn't even text me at all.
"Hi?" I said
He smiled and looked to be calling someone. He started yelling and staying stuff like
"I don't love you anymore"
"I'm sorry but I have changed"
I heard a voice on his phone....then I realized I was ease dropping.....
I tried to walk ahead of him but he was already walking too fast. The road came to an end I walked by Madi.
"Hi" I said and looked at her with big eyes, she new when I did that I liked someone
She looked over my shoulder and gave me the eyes back and smiled.
The bus rolled up, Jacen was now of the phone. He looked relived but angry at the same time.
"I hate the bus" I said
"Same" Madi said
"Yeah" Jacen agreed
Madi got on first and I was right behind her, then I felt someone tap me on the shoulder, it was Jacen. I looked back at him and while I was getting on I said "yeah?"
"Could I sit with you on the bus?" He asked
"Sorry I'm sitting-" the bus driver cut me off
"Jacen? Is it?" He asked
"Yeah." he replied
I was now walking to my assigned seat with Madi.
"We have assigned seats on this bus. I let them choose but you can just sit where ever, choose wisely." He said grumpily
I watched as Jacen choose 2 seats across from me. He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back but he looked away before he could see me.
"You totally like him!" Madi said teasing me, she didn't say it to loud though
"I will talk to you at lunch." I said
The rest of the bus ride was normal, I talked to Madi about going to  Jacen's house and meeting him. Then I asked her if she liked him.
"No! I like someone else remember?" She said nudging me I looked over at him and realized he was sitting with Madi's crush.
"Yeah, I remember." I said slowly starting to look at Madi
We where at school now and I took my phone out and checked the usual (snapchat). I was walking with Madi toward the school doors, no one had anything on there story's yet. We could have are phones in school which was great. Jacen was walking right by me,
"You have snapchat?" He asked
"Yeah, how about you?" I said
"I do! I will text you my snapchat." He said
"Ok." I replied
He walked into the crowd of people trying to get into the doors and vanished.
I began to think, crap.....I liked someone before, Jake...my old boy friend. He was a jerk. Why did I think that before, I must have really liked Jacen. I walked to my locker and Madi's was right next to me. She walked to are home room with one of her friends. I was struggling to get my locker open, I was late. I finally got my locker open then I felt someone grab my arm and drag me into a janitors closet. I struggled... I tried to get away from this anonymous person but I couldn't. The person locked the door, and grabbed me and shoved me to the counter or something that I sat on. The person turned on the light. I gasped....
