Chapter 20 - He's Back

Ivan's POV

The day has gone quickly and in this day i'm going to meet the whole cimorelli to have dinner with them, for the first time. I'm so excited yet anxious at the same time I just don't know how to act infront of them but lauren told me to just be myself and I don't have the reason to change myself nor imitate someone just to have a good impression. Well, she has a point..

Lately, we've been having some arguments because of  contact lenses that she gave me. Funny, right? But this time I was the one who was pleading to wear it for this day, meeting her whole family. I just want to look normal and not the nerdy boy she's always seen. But she's been telling me that I don't need to and it's much better if I just look like my original self and she told me that it won't get comfortable for me using that thing since I haven't used that for a long time and which is true.

I love it when she's always right. I don't know but I just love it. I know she's the girl i've been looking for. If you were wondering if I already confessed my feelings about her.. No.. I don't have the guts to tell her about it and that made me hate myself.

And maybe you've been wondering about me and that kitty girl,well she's been so clingy this past few days. My time with lauren had always been interrupted by her and of course, lauren would left the both us. I hate it. But, I don't want to think about that right now. At least i'm going to spend this night with her plus her family. Could this night get any better?

I'm sitting beside my bedside table when I heard my phone vibrated. I picked it up and looked at the sender.

"What time are  u gonna be here??" It was a text from lauren.

"This time, i'll be there in 10." I texted back, and because I need this phone right now. I put it inside my pocket and checked myself out in the mirror one last time, making sure that my appearance is okay.

"Looking good,van." I winked at myself through the mirror and with that I left my room and made my way outside the house. I locked the house and starts to wander to the cimorelli's household. 

I walked on there doorstep and knocked on the door a few seconds later, someone answered it. I guess she's christina.. She gave me a warm smile and sighs a bit. "You must be ivan? lauren has been telling a lot of things about you." She told me and beamed.

I nod my head and chuckled. "Yup, that's me." I smiled shyly. 

"By the way, i'm christi--" I cut her off by nodding my head and grinned at her nicely.

"I know, i've seen your videos and I can tell that i'm a fan now." I politely said. She chuckled a bit and beamed. "Well then, thanks. Lauren must know about this, aye?" She asks me, giving me a bewildred look.

I gaze at her for a while with a puzzled look on my face then finally I spoke up. "Uh, no. I haven't told her about that, yet."

She nod her head. "Oh come in and i'll go get lauren to be here." She smiled at me and walked to the side so I could walk in.

She looked at the top and started to yell. "LAUREN GET YOUR BUTT IN HERE, WE HAVE A VISITOR!" She informed by yelling at the top of her lungs. I looked at her wide eyed and she just smiled at me like nothing happened.

"WHO'S THAT?!" Lauren asked, yelling. Christina had a smirk on her face and as I look at her with an odd look.

"YOUR BOYFRIEND!" She yelled back, smirking. I was about to spoke but then I got interrupted by lauren's voice.

"I DON'T HAVE A BOYFRIEND AND I CAN'T GO THERE SO TELL THAT PERSON TO JUST GO IN HERE!!" Lauren yelled back. I heard christina sighs but then she looked at me and nod her head.
