Chapter 17

Ib's POV

They walked into the petite cafe, and just as they were sitting on their seats, the window behind them rattled.

A 12 year old girl was banging on the window. She had shoulder length brown hair, with brown eyes. She then rushed inside the cafe and started hugging the twins and Alex.

Bloom was one of Tara, Luna's and Alex's friend in their old school. Sadly she had to move to Chicago in mid-term, for her parents business shift.

Now apparently, she was in town.

After they finished hugging, Alex introduced Bloom to everybody else.

"So now that's that, what's you're story Megan?"

"Oh, my father was very abusive towards my mum, who later died in a car crash. Plus, he was an alcoholic. Then he sent me to this orphanage when I was 4 and I'm the oldest person there."

"Ten years! That must be horrible! What about Chase?" Bloom asked.

"Oh he doesn't really know, as he's just a four year old"

"Hmmm... Chase, what do you find interest in?" Bloom was wondering about this boy, as he had been very quiet during the full conversation.

"I LOVE Spider-Man! He's so cool! And do you know he can shoot webs out of his hands! And I love prancing Mrs. Smith, though Megan helps get out of trouble!"

Everyone laughed.

"What's you're story Tara & Luna?"

"Oh um, we, our younger sister and parents moved here from India, when we were 5. We went to a school which we were bullied in. They recently beat Tara up-"

Tara nodded and pointed to her faded black eye and bruises.

"And our only friends were Alex and Bloom. So we moved schools when we were seven, and one night we were at Alex's house for a stay over, when apparently an LPG gas canister leaked and caused a fire, which our parents and little sister were caught in. Then we got adopted by a celebrity, and it just turned out that he used us."

The twins were hugged by Megan and Chase, while Blu and Alex were holding Bloom to pounce,

"Y'know I really want to be named Koan."
Alex wondered out aloud.

Blue chuckled.

"Well that's Alex everybody, as random as ever"

Everyone laughed.

But they agreed that Koan would be a really cool name.

Blu and Alex had left, due to something, and only Megan, Chase and Bloom were left to accompany Tara and Luna to the Orphanage.

They were walking down the driveway of The Sapling Orphanage, when Tara thought she heard a fast ticking noise.

She turned back to find that Megan, Chase and Bloom had disappeared.

"Huh? Where did they go?"

Tara was sitting by her desk, head in hands, and Luna was sitting on her bed, and bouncing a ball repeatedly back and forth on the bookshelf wall.

"I cannot believe that they won't take us back, and also that the psychiatrist said we we were completely normal!" Luna snapped.

"I know right! People these days" Tara bumbled.

Luna the started bouncing the ball more violently after each bounce,  remembering the events of that day.

Now the ball hit a book.

You would just say, so it's just a stupid book, and when did this story become so detailed?

Well it was one particular book,

As the ball hit the book, the book suddenly sunk back into its shelf, with more books, making it a door like shape, before it swung open.

The twins walked in side the hollow when they felt something open beneath them.

They felt the wind rush around them as they screamed.
