Anna's POV

First thing's first: Keita has a not-so-amazing memory. I think the excitement of that day affected her hippocampus, the part of your brain that stores your memories. Getting Aelita to the tower was way harder than she makes it out to be. And that's coming from the girl who was stuck on the computer. Yeah, not too happy about that. Anyway, let's rewind a bit. You'll thank me for this clarification time later on. Here's what really happened:

I felt the ground shake under my feet as we walked back to the dorm room. That was the first sign. The thing is, an earthquake here, even a slight rumbling, is impossible. Earthquakes happen near the fault lines, and there was no fault line anywhere near France. The only way that was possible was if that was an aftershock from some larger earthquake near the fault line, and if it was, we would have heard about it by now. So, something goes wrong in this dimension that's really out of the ordinary, and who do you blame? Seriously now, who else could it be but Xana. That's strange though, I thought as we said good-night to Melody and Melissa, There's no Xana attack with earthquakes in the episodes, the closest thing would be in the episode Just in Time, with the ultrasonic soundwaves.

"Anna, did you-" Keita started to say as we entered our dorm. I cut her off.

"Feel the earthquake? Yeah."

"You know, that's probably the first earthquake I've ever felt," she replied. I nodded.

"Me too, but what else could it be?" I questioned, starting to pace the room.

"So, it was an earthquake. What do we do about it?" She said, laying down on her bed.

"The thing is, Keita, that earthquake wasn't possible. We're nowhere near a fault line. To have an earthquake, there's got to be a fault line," I explained.

"Alright, do you think it was-" I cut her off again. I don't like people derailing my train of thought.

"Xana? There's no other explaination. The earthquakes are easily fixed by a trip to Lyoko, but what really bothers me is that this attack wasn't in the series. There's no Xana attack by earthquakes. The time stream we know must have been altered by our arrival here."

"Which means?"

"Which means, Keita, that we can't completely trust our own knowledge of what happens."

"Are you saying-"

"That the Lyoko Warriors may not beat Xana in the end? That one of them could die? That Aelita could maybe not even be turned human at the end of season 1 in the first place? That Franz Hopper could die sooner than the end of season 4? That it's possible that we could save Franz? That's exactly what I mean. Us being here has the poteintial to change everything," she stared at me with wide eyes as I continued to pace around. I always get edgy when I'm nervous. It's like my nervousness triggers me to contract ADHD.

"But back to the problem at hand, we can deal with that later. The earthquakes. I assume they'll get worse as the attack continues. We've got to do something before someone gets hurt. Anything's possible now. The question is, should we contact the Lyoko Warriors or do something ourselves? I think that since this wasn't in the episodes then the Warriors don't go to Lyoko this time, so even though I could tip off Jeremy via Instant Messaging like I did earlier, I think we should handle this ourselves. Let's go get Melody and Melissa, go to the lab, and fix this," she nodded and we left to get Melody and Melissa from their dorm. Can you tell that science was my favorite subject in school? I lived for it.
