chapter 8

I woke up the next morning to my phone vibrating ,  i groaned and started feeling around for it. I unlocked it and i had a text from jay telling me to call him when i was ready to go. I realized that i had slept later than  usually do because it was 11:30. I got out of the bed going to the bathroom and did my hygiene while contemplating today's events of things to do . First, i have to deal with this justin  issue. Where this was coming after 3 years i have no clue but i was not here for the bullshit. Not today , tomorrow or ever, i walked out the bathroom searching my sheets for my phone. I went through the rest of my messages and realized i had a message from que from yesterday, i opened it  and nearly dropped my phone . It was picture of jacquees in nothing but a towel. ...why me lord. why is he making this so hard , i mumbled to myself.

I sent the message and made my way to my closet to find something to I pulled out a black maxi dress and grabbed some sandals & grabbed my sun glasses because I have serious beef with the sun and anything else bright. I think i was a vampire or some shit in another life time. I heard my phone vibrating and it was it was jacquees calling me but by the time i picked up my phone he stopped calling,which meant I now have to call his nappy headed ass back.

"you rang "

"yea , you just now getting that picture ,? "

"no, i got it yesterday when you sent it, i just never opened it"

"hmmm, so did you ever figure out who that was from our date the night " the way he said it made me feel like he already knew who it was but he wanted to see if i would tell him

"nobody important " i said putting my clothes on

"then why do you have another body guard ," he said

"just felt like i needed another one. what time should i be ready tonight" i said change the subject

"that was real cute lex, but we'll talk more about this later, & 7:30. Wear what i told you to wear" he said in a stern voice

" ill think about it " i said smirking

" i could make you put it on don't try me "

"..right ok, bye rodricques" i said and ended the call.

I went to the bathroom and got dressed & did a quick check in the mirror and was satisfied. Now my hair was about a big issue i looked at myself hard and pulled half of it up into a bun and pilled it on my head. Cute for the occasion i thought to myself, now..the million dollar question was how was i was going to sneak out passed troy. I heard my phone buzz indicating that i had a text. It was jay telling me he was outside, i grabbed my bag stuffing my charger and other items and there and made my way downstairs. Luckily for me, troy was sleeping, so i silently crept outside , closing the door as quietly as i could. I ran to the car as fast as i could as saw jay laughing at me as i climbed in .

" this shit is not funny, if it wasn't for Justin i wouldn't have to sneak out my own damn house, " i said. I looked him up and down and sometimes i have to remind myself jay was gay, he was so damn fine. He was a sexy light skinned caramel color and had beautiful black curly dreads down his back, and had a body that Jesus himself sculpted. Home boy was fine, he was wearing  white t-shirt and blue jeans with a beanie on his head.

"you see something you like lex" he said backing out and driving off.

"girl trust me if i was straight you would've had about 5 of my babies by now. What park are we going to "he said
