" Maybe a little , " I said looking him in his eyes

"Good , it's always good do something you don't like every once in a while"  he said shrugging his shoulders

A waitress came over and took our orders and had a huge smile plastered across her face ,

" hello, my name is Daniel and I'll be you guy's waitress for the night...& this may be a little unprofessional but I am a huge fan of both of you " she said squealing

" thanks love , it's perfectly fine " I said

" what can I get for you guys tonight " she said taking out her note pad

" I'll have cranberry juice & chicken pasta " I said handing her my menu

" ok...and for you sir?" She said . She was smiling just a little but to hard while she was taking que's order

" I'll have what my lady is having , but switch the juice to a sweet tea "

" I'll have that ready for you love & I didn't know you two were dating . You guys make a beautiful couple " she said with a little bit of sadness in her voice

"We-"

" thank you , you can go do your job now " he said to her and she walked away.

" really que...we're not a couple ..and I don't think it's a good idea for you to let her think we are "

" so you saying you don't wanna be my girl"

"....I didn't say that but we've been on two dates..well 3 counting this ...& we're still getting to know each other "

" ....true , but we've known each other for a lil minute tho , that doesn't count for anything , "

" not really , this is more of a different level , I'm still trying to decide if I want to be your girlfriend.., I could have other options for all you know " I said smirking

" Trust me , I know you not so I don't even much have to worry about that "

"how?"

He leaned back in his seat and too a heavy breath and folded his arms in the table

" for one , I saw the way you was looking at that girl when she was taking my order , and when I touch you or get really close to you your pupils dilate. Which means your excited , and when I touch you , your body tenses up until I rub you . I pay attention lex, trust me. "

I couldn't help but to smile because he was so right. He mentioned things I didn't even know I did , but knowing me he was probably right. I can clearly tell now I would never be able to hide anything from him because he's so attentive , and that's something I've always wanted in a man. I leaned back and started playing with the end of my hair and he was staring at me biting the side of his lip.

' why do you do that? " he said nodding his head toward me

" do what?"

" play with your hair , I notice that to. Whenever someone tells you something you do it. Or if your just sitting by yo self I notice it to , I'm guessing you thinking? "

I looked down at my golden brown tips , I never really noticed that I did this either

"Yea...I just kinda do it subconsciously, but ..yea most of the time I'm thinking about something " I said throwing my hair in a sloppy bun

" it's cute " he said smiling . Just then the waiter came and brought us our orders . We blessed our food and ate, I didn't realize how hungry I was until I started eating . This was probably the first thing I ate all day.
