Gray's POV
--------------------
I sighed to myself and shove my hands in my pockets. Pft. Thanks to that Fire Brain, Erza kicked the both of us out of the guild and it had left a mark too. I rubbed my lower back and dusted the dirt off of my jacket, which I soon realized that I wasn't wearing...
I carried on walking after putting on a shirt, to the training fields. I sighed to myself and huffed. I stopped at the foot of a tree and hauled myself up into the branches and slumped against it. I put my feet up, careful not to loose my balance and just sat there, looking around me. I hadn't seen anything unusual at that point, the birds were chirping, some were really out of tune, I could hear the distance murmur from the main town just in the distance. The sun was high in the sky and the trees were all green with the Summer season, an unconscious girl, just laying on the grass. Wait, what?!
I jumped down from the tree and rushed over to the girl. She had black un-even hair and she was lying flat on her stomach. She looked pretty grazed and she seemed to be clutching her left shoulder from under the black cloak she was wearing. I ran and got some water from a nearby lake and poured over her face, which I had to tilt slightly to the side. She scrunched up her face and wrinkled her nose.
'That was cold!!' she mumbled, sitting up.
'Hey, are you alright?' I asked. She looked at me sleepily, and confused.
'Why'd you do that? I was having a sleep,' she grumbled. I blinked at her, I don't normally see wounded people sleeping on their fronts, looking weak and defenceless.
'I-I-I thought you were unconscious or in trouble! I did the first thing I could think of!' I argued. She stood up and brushed off the dust. I could see she'd been wounded. She looked a state. She wasn't wearing anything on her feet, which were all cut up and bloody. She was wearing these tattered trousers with holes on the knees and she seemed to just be wearing bandages on her chest, which covered up everything, but I wasn't sure, because of that long black cloak she was wearing, mainly sitting over her left shoulder. She noticed me staring and her face went a shade of pink.
'What?' she asked. I smirked to myself.
'You look a right state,' I told her.
'Yeah? Well you look no better, seriously, put some clothes on!' She pointed. I blinked and my eyes widened, I took off to find my clothes again. Damn, why does that keep happening? I came back and found her giggling slightly. I smiled at her and her eyes went heavy, her whole body went weak and she fell forward, dazed. I jumped, slightly surprised and managed to catch her before she hit the floor.
'Are you alright?' I asked. She looked up at me her eyes heavy, her face pale.
'Damn it,' she mummered, her words were slurring a bit.
'We need to get you back to the guild, now!' I said to myself, picking her up and carrying her as I began to run.
'What's your name?' I asked, looking down at her.
'Shaye, I'm Shaye,' she mumbled, closing her eyes.
'Stay with me Shaye!' I told her, gritting my teeth together. But she'd gone cold. I looked down again and realised how short she was, no taller than Levi maybe? Whatever, I had to get her back to the guild.
I made it to the guild's entrance and burst in, making everyone jump. Erza glared at me and Lucy sweat-dropped.
'Get some medical help!' I yelled running in with Shaye in my arms. Mirajane jumped up and met me halfway.
