When I woke up in the morning Marshall wasn't there. I got up and went to the kitchen to get breakfast. Weird...Cake wasn't there either. I decided to just eat a toast. As I was about to open the refrigirator I found a note...

*** Dear Fionna,

I planned a little party for you. You might ask why...because yesterday was the 100th time you kicked Ice Queen's butt. It's at 6pm. I hope you'll come. I invited all of your friends.

Since I didn't have anything to do I decided to get ready for the party. Well, since it's not a ball I don't have to wear fancy stuff. I first took a shower and then I put my clothes on. I wore a red tank top and dark jeans.

It's already 6pm. I don't want to be late! I hurried to the castle and as I entered I saw all of my friends and...MARSHALL. I happily ran to him and hugged him.

"Hey, Marshy."

"Hey, Fi." His voice sounded sad and depressed. Since yesterday he was kinda in a bad mood. I'll ask him later about it. "I have to go but I'll see you later, ok?"

I nodded and went to look for Cake after he left. After a while I stopped looking for her. I wonder where she is. The party was pretty ok even though Marshall and Cake weren't here. When I thought the party was over I heard music playing and everyone went to the Garden. There was a stage and Cake and Marshall were on it. Cake had her violin and of course Marshall his Axe-Bass. Everyone cheered and he started singing.

The crowd started cheering and I made my way to both of them. I wonder if Gumball knew about this.

"Hey, you guys. You were awesome!"

"Thanks, honey. I hope it wasn't to bad without me."

"It was alright, Cake, but I'm sure the party would've been better if you two were there."

"Sorry about that but we had to practice."

"It's okay...but...were is Marshall?"

"I don't know. I think he left. Everything alright between you two?"

"Yes...but...Marshall is kinda in a bad mood. I don't know why. I'll see you later, Cake!"

"Ok. See you!"

I waved her 'goodbye' and started walking towards Marshall's cave. I knocked on the door. He opened it after a few seconds. I slowly walked in and sat down on the couch. Knowing how uncomfortable the couch is Marshall picked me up and sat me on his lap. We just stayed like that for a while and then I just had to ask...

"Everything alright? You kinda seem...sad."

"Uhh...." he hesitated to answer "It's just...I've been thinking...what will be later?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean you're going to get older...and...I...I will stay the same."

I knew were this was going but before I could say something he started...

"I just need some time alone...to think." I just got scared.

"Are you breaking up with me?"

"No, of course not, bunny! I just need a few days alone. Let's say 3 days ok."

Puhh. I was afraid he is going to break up with me...

"O-Ok. But can I stay here for today?"

"Sure."

We snuggled together and watched a movie. Heat Signature. It's our favorite. After we was dome watching it, he gave me some pjs and we went to sleep together.
