Lost

-Chapter 4-

It had been about two weeks since the auditions. I was soi excited. I had been selected to be on season 6 of "Dance Moms"! Filming didn't start for another week, so my mom and I decided to head home for a while until we had to go back to LA.
All of a sudden my sister Sadie came bounding into my room, interrupting my train of thought.

"May I help you?" I asked.
"Yes!" she responded, springing onto my bed.
"What is it?" I asked, tossing my phone down.
"Well, its a request." Sadie said. "Can I come to LA with you sometime?"
"Of course!" I cheered. "You can visit!"
"Really?" Sadie asked, a grin spreading across her face.
"Yeah!" I replied giggling.
"Thank you Brynn!" she said, hugging me.

I hugged her back and she left my room, closing the door behind her. I turned on the TV and started watching past Dance Moms episodes. I needed to prove to Abby that she made the right choice. After everyone episode I watched, I would choose either one or two dances that were performed, and I would try to perform them myself. All of a sudden, my phone buzzed. I picked it up and saw a text from Jenna.

jenna : hey, are you excited for LA?
brynn: totally! i'm sorry you didn't make it
jenna: its alright! I'll still be able to watch the show and cheer you on(:
brynn: plus I'll come visit, and you can come visit me!
jenna: totally! just don't forget about me while you're there;)
brynn: that's impossible!
jenna: haha, thanks brynny
brynn: anytime
jenna: hey! I have to get to dance! ttyl!
brynn: ttyl!

I threw my phone onto my purple bed and continued dancing. Soon, my mom called me down for dinner. I skipped down the stairs and jumped into my chair at the table.

"Someone's happy." laughed my mom.
"Why wouldn't I be? I'm going to be on Dance Moms!" I cheered.
"Are you sure?" joked my mom.

She brought over a large bowl of pasta, a plate of bread, and a large bowl of salad. I scooped some of everything into my plate then began to eat. Soon, Sadie joined us. My brother was at his friend's house.
Sadie set a white piece of paper onto the table.

"What's that?" asked my mom.
"For homework we need to draw a picture us." Sadie said smiling, holding up the paper so we could see it.
"Sadie honey, that's really good!" Mom exclaimed.

Sadie blushed and ate her dinner. Once everyone had finished, I went into the living room and flopped down onto the couch. My mom soon came over and joined me, followed by Sadie.
After dinner every night, we took turns choosing a show to watch. Tonight was my night and I chose Once Upon A Time, one of my favorites.
Halfway through the show, my phone buzzed yet again. I picked it up, expecting it to be Jenna. It wasn't. Instead, it was an instagram alert. I opened it up and saw I had a direct message. It wasn't from a fan or one of my friends. It was from Mackenzie Ziegler. I was confused. Why had she dmed me? I opened it up and began to read.

officialmackzmusic: Hey! I heard you made the team! Congrats! We're excited to dance with you again! See you next week!

I smiled and began to type.

brynn.rumfallo: thanks! super excited for next week! see ya then!

I then turned off my phone, and eventually fell asleep on the couch, thinking about next week at the ALDC LA.
