Lost

-Chapter 1-

I woke up to the sound of the hotel alarm clock blaring in my ears. I rolled over in bed and slapped the off button, then slowly rolled out of bed to grab my TV remote, which sat across the room on a shelf. I then returned to my bed, summersaulting onto it. I was nervous for today, yet excited. Today, I would be trying out for the hit reality show, 'Dance Moms'. I had guest stared on the team before, but I haven't been an official member.
I flipped on my TV and partially paid attention to Girl Meets World, which was one of the only good things on TV at the moment.
I took out my phone and began flipping through Instagram. I had many alerts, from both fans and friends. I scrolled through and watched a couple of video edits that people had made for me. I liked a couple of them before deciding to start getting ready for the day.
I walked over to my suit case and pulled out a light blue sports bra, matching light blue jazz shorts, and my white fuzzy jacket, then slipped them on. I did a front walkover to stretch out my back a bit, then walked through the door of my mom and I's connected hotel rooms. My mom saw me slipped on her shoes.

"Ready to go?" she asked.
"Yep." I replied, opening the door and stepping into the brightly lit hallway.
"Nervous?" my mom questioned, closing the door behind us.
"Obviously." I said.
"You'll do great. Plus some of your friends from Club are trying out as well. You'll get to see them." she told me.
"I guess you're right." I responded, walking into the elevator.

When the elevator reached the first floor, we walked into the lobby and out the revolving glass doors. The morning wind blew my blonde hair off my shoulder and across my face. Our rental car was parked in the parking garage across the street, so we walked quickly across and into the garage. I ran and did a side aerial, then listened to the echo of my pink flip flops hitting the ground.

"Careful." my mom said smiling. "Don't want to get hurt before your audition."
"Fine." I mumbled before I burst into a mini fit of giggles.

When we finally reached our car, we hopped in and began to drive to ALDC LA, where I would be auditioning. I tapped my fingers rapidly on my leg as we drove, getting even more nervous by the second.

"Honey you'll do amazing." my mom said trying to calm me.
"But there's tons of amazing dancers trying out." I whined.
"And you're one of them." she added.
"Thanks. But I'm not the best." I pushed.
"Brynn, you won best mini female dancer at The Dance Awards last year, you'll do fabulous." she said, trying yet again to reassure me.
"I suppose." I sighed.

After about twenty minutes of driving, we finally arrived.
My mom handed me my dance bag full of shoes, some snacks, and extra clothes. We then walked to the front doors. Auditions weren't starting for another hour, but a line was already forming outside the studio.
I pushed through the doors and walked into the cool, air conditioned building.
"Brynn!" called a voice from across the studio.
I whipped my head around to see who had called my name. I then saw who the voice was coming from.
"Jenna!" I yelled, running to her.
We then met, and almost collapsed in a hug. Jenna and I haven't seen each other in a while, so we were both extremely excited when we found out that we were both auditioning.

"I missed you so much!" I exclaimed.
"Same! I'm super nervous!" Jenna replied.
"Who else is here?" I asked her.
"Brooklyn, Jazzy, Cami, and Daylyn." Jenna said. "Come on! Let's go sit down."

Jenna lead me over to where she had set her bags. I plopped mine down against the wall, then sat down next to it. After a while, we were joined by Brooklyn, Jazzy, Cami, and Daylyn. We talked, stretched and took pictures until it was time for auditions, and I couldn't wait.

sorry it's off to a bit of a boring start. later on in the story of will get a bit more drama filled and the title will make a bit more since.
i'm also making this partially realistic and partially made up. like the part about her auditioning is real, but I may throw in some made up characters or events in there.}
