As a little kid has your parents ever told you bedtime stories? That every story has a happily ever after? Well in my life that's not true. My life isn't easy, it's not some big fairy tale. There was ounce a time when I was loved by my parents. They thought it was just a phase. But it wasn't. I'm a mermaid and my name is essence, and I'm not beautiful like the others. I'm hideous. All my life I have been beaten almost to death. There's just one thing that gets me through all of this and its the voice in my head.......
