I wake up, today is the ball, I thought to myself. I went to shower and magically changed into a t-shirt and shorts and walk down to the Great Hall and sit in my spot and eat breakfast. "Good morning Princess" a guard greets me. "Good morning" I answer. Then Tristan walks in and sits down next to me. "Morning Alex" he greets me. "Morning T" I greet back. Leilani's voice echoed as the giant doors opened, that's my cue, I thought and walked foward, I stopped in the middle of the room and faced everyone, I took a deep breath and started my speech. "Thank you Leilani, now like Leilani was saying on that horrible day that Lord Evil killed my parents," I paused letting the memory fall back into my head, it was so hard to not cry,"but I am still here and I will help this kingdom and help it in any way I can, and I promise I will be there and will be there for magic ceremonies and everything my parents would do, I know I can't replace them, but I will do my best to be there for this kingdom, our kingdom" I said and everyone cheered,"thank you everyone please enjoy your night" I said walking to my friends. "Yeah of course" I said taking his hand. He walked me out to the dance floor and he put his arms around my waist and I put my arms around his neck. "Hey you know I've always liked you?" He asked while we danced. "I was on the verge of figuring it out... how long did they know?" I asked. "For about a year probably but I've liked you longer so..." "I get it but no one knows I like anyone you know that" I said, he chuckled lightly. "So you like me back?" He asked. "Yeah I do" I admitted. He smiled and twirled me. "Hey T?" I asked "Yeah" he aswered. "I'm gonna give go sing is that ok?" "Go up there right now!" He demanded and I walked to the middle again. "Can you play this for me?"
