"You guys were getting adopted I heard Ms. Mariana say and I quote, 'these are our oldest kids are you sure you want them?' I'm telling you were actually getting adopted!!" I told my friends excited.
"Oh my gosh are you sure Ally?" Emma asked calling me my girly nickname.
"I'm positive you guys!! She said she'd tell us too and when she does I get to say I told you so!"
"All right then we'll see later now let's get to homework" Sara says ending the conversation, and we all did our homework.
After 30-ish minutes we finish and walk downstairs to our chores and Ms. Mariana stops us at the bottom of the stairs and starts talking to us.
"Ok you guys are getting adopted now go pack your stuff your all leaving tomorrow" she says pushing us back upstairs. After she leaves I take my chance.
"I told you all so!" I said facing my friends. They all laughed and we went to our rooms. I finished packing in 10 minutes (i don't have a lot of stuff). So I walk downstairs and help the younger kids. After an hour I had to make dinner so I walked into the kitchen and started cooking. After a half an hour I finished. During dinner my mind was on my new family what will they be like? What if they don't like me??. After dinner i just went upstairs and fell into a deep sleep.
I woke up really happy, this must be how it feels like to be part of a family, I thought. I quickly got up grabbed my clothes and took a quick shower, as soon as I was done getting ready I grabbed my packed bag and went downstairs.
2 minutes later my friends came down the same expression on their faces, nervous and anxious.
"All right kids this is your new mother" Ms. Mariana says pointing to a lady, the lady had strawberry-blonde hair, kind stormy grey eyes, and the perfect skin-tone to go with her hair and eyes,"kids this is Leilani Amaria, she is adopting you guys, your all moving to Tacoma, Washington to live with her" Ms. Mariana explained and Leilani had a big welcoming smile on her face. I think I'm going to like Leilani, I thought, but we'll see.
